Jerry, can't be blamed for injuries. But he can be blamed for not bringing WR talent through the draft to replace receivers in there 30s. Teams win SBs when there GM plans for replacing the current stock of players in there 30s. WR and RB are position that you have to keep replacing at least every 5 years. The Cowboys over the last 10 years have become to dependent on FAs. This is all to cover the poor job the GM is doing.

With all this being said, I love Jerry for what he does for this team Just please, hire a real GM.

Patrick Crayton was drafted by the cowboys.


Hurd and Austin were both brought in after the draft last year.


I'd say he's brought in replacements with potential to start.


They can't all be first round picks, Chico.

So what are Crayton, Hurd, Austin, and Stanback? Any WR drafted in the past 2-3 years would be just as unproven as these guys because they would not have seen the field either. You can't have a 1st day pick at every position and a few as backups too. I think JJ and the organization have done a superb job identifying and bringing in young WRs. We just cut 2-3 that can play in the league. How about sitting back and watching at least one game to see how the youngs guys do before proclaiming JJ an idiot. You didn't even offer any examples of who they should have drafted and at what costs.

Im joking, If TG were Ok, we have one of the bests 1-2 receivers of the league and Very Nice backups, I dunno how many teams of the league have this much depth on their Wrs.
Are they all starters?? maybe not, but how many teams have 3 or 4 starters on their Wr position?

He's an incompetent GM and an embarrassment as the public face of the Dallas Cowboys, but even he couldn't fix every position of need in the off-season. We knew it was a gamble with Owens and Glenn, but we lost.
