And another one goes on ignore. It's obvious that you have no interest in watching the video. I think there were two plays in there that were not KR or S.
You can watch him break on balls in the air out of a zone and get there to get the INT. You can watch him turn around , find the ball and deflect it in man coverage. Any Cowboys fan should know the merit in that. You can watch his aggressiveness in run support. You can watch his ability to break down and make the tackle when the play is coming directly at him.
It's bloody blatant but you are interested in whatever it is that really interests you because 'seeing' obviously is not it.
I agree with Fuzzy.
OP is trolling perhaps because a pet cat was not chosen with the pick.
The guy is raw having only played one year at the position and did it at a low level of football.
There are a couple of things I really love about him that are obvious on the film shown here:
1. He is physical
2. He can locate the ball when beaten instead of flailing away and hoping the ball hits him. Not many guys can do that in the NFL.
3. He is aggressive going after INTs when the opportunity presently itself.
4. He seems to understand angles in pursuit and knows how to fill a gap with authority and decisively which is a very important skill for a Safety to have
Only time will tell if it was a good pick and we are able to convert him into an NFL Safety but he demonstrates real Safety skills, has an NFL body, has NFL athleticism, has NFL physicality and ball skills from his days as an offensive player. They could have gone with a safer pick who might hit the field earlier but I think they went after a guy who fits what we envision a Safety to be. He is actually a bit like Matt Johnson's video in that he seems like he is shot out of a cannon compared to the guys around him which is what you want to see from a guy who played at a lower level of competition and looks to be able to compete well against higher levels of competition.
