Exactly, I've been saying this from the start...RGIII will not sign with is when he can make double somewhere else and have a chance to start right away.

Truthfully, QB options are going to be far in between like always this offseason. The few that are available will either resign with their teams or sign somewhere with a chance to compete to start...not sign a discount with Dallas to sit behind Romo. This may work in the favor of the people wanting a QB at pick 4 though.

I suspect that both Goff and Wentz are anticipating their chances of being drafted by Dallas as well as several fine defensive prospects. Randy Gregory's suspension might make a difference in the DE position being prioritized for our 1st round selection as well. It seemingly appears to be anybody's guess at this point exactly how that situation might turn out.

Werder just said on NFL Live ESPN right now "He has been told Linehan is not a big fan of RG3". He "does not feel like he is a good fit for the offense" FWIW.

Smoke and until we actually hear something direct from the Cowboys that is what it will be. There are a number of free agents that we won't be interested in, why, because it gives them a leg up in negotiations and Dallas wants to sign the guys they want for what they want to pay. The smoke and mirrors is going to last the next two weeks just because know team wants to give up an advantage. Case in point is Denver with Ware, the either take a pay cut or be cut, anyone want that action based on the Super Bowl. The combination of Miller and Ware is just to good to issue an ultimate on that one, Elway is not stupid!

How do they remind you of Geno Smith

Easy, all the pundits said Smith had the stuff to be a good NFL QB and he was a good college QB but it is less than 50-50 on those guys to truly make it in the NFL. Not Goff or Wentz or Lynch conjure up any pictures of Winston (who I don't care for) or Mariota, nor do they remind me of Bortles or Bridgewater or Derek Carr heck I think Cousins looked better coming out of college than either of those 3 and he was pick #102. Now if any of them were there late 2nd or early 3rd, sure I would take one of them. In truth they are just the best of a bad lot of QBs in 2016 draft.

Look at next year's draft with Seth Russell, Baker Mayfield, Chad Kelly, Deshaun Watson, Patrick Mahomes and others they appear to be much, much better QBs. Me, if Los Angeles offered both 2nds and 1st in 2017 to move to #4, I'm taking it and taking my chances on getting a truly elite guy in 2017 with the power to move up to do it.
