No way! Theisman would never talk bad about a Dallas Cowboy, would he?
Yeah, it's hard to believe, I know lol...I had to do a ton of research to verify that he did indeed criticize Tony Romo. Go figure.

He didn't look like Nostradamus. I'd say he looked more like a Norman Einstein.

my God, when will people just leave this guy alone already? I can see this happening:

Rep: "Tony, word on the street is that you dropped duece today?"
TR: "Well, I do like my fiber" (he chuckles)
Rep: "But were you able to pinch enough?"
TR: "I went like I have always"

Next morning Headline:
"Tony Romo unable to to clean out bowels, Cowboys season in jeopardy"

A Day later

JJ: "Reports are that Tony can't dump right, er, um, you know, drop cable. I want to clear that up right now. He is going to get extra fiber, just like Peyton Manning and be lighter as a result. I expect Dallas to be just fine. Now, where are the cameras?"

A pimple on Romo's rear end has caused fans to panic. Can you the imagine the melt down if he gets a bad case of jock itch?

JJT it is rare that you write a well thought out concise article or opinion piece. However it has become common place for you to be lazy, sloppy, boring, cliche and resort to the lowest denominator of shock jock type attention whoring reporting in order to get a response and keep people clicking on your articles.

Can you say anything for yourself that would contradict my stated opinion?

This.

Gene Jock Tailor is a substandard writer. The problem is, however, he always manages to lure us in with each piece of crap he writes. Shame on us.:

"No other big-time veteran quarterback would give such a mealy-mouthed approach. "

no other quarterback at any level is as scrutinzed by sports media as Tony Romo.

If he says the "right" thing, he's arrogant and needs to be put down because he's only won one playoff game.

If he says the "wrong" thing, he isn't deserving of his contract and shouldn't even be a starter.

if he says nothing, he's combative and arrogant and not a vocal leader.

Just my opinion, but if he stopped reporting for the Cowboys, it would effectively kill his career. He simply does not have the talent to do the job. Very "Quincy Carterish" in that you really don't know why ESPN pulled the trigger on him when much better talent was available for the spot, but you hope for the best until he is escorted from Training Camp one day and never plays with the big boys again.

It isn't like he has a following, rather he is a "reporter" for a team that generates a great amount of interest. No one I know of would say that they follow his writings. His readership simply puts up with him in the hopes of getting real news in between the otherwise porous efforts that he produces.

There is no more self-important, delusional, arrogant nobody in the media than JJT.

And it's getting worse by the year.

I don't really believe the leadership knock on Romo. I've always thought it was an easy way to explain his failures without having to admit he's not good enough.
