Barry church has been above average really liking his play this year. Wilcox has been great too. Coaching has been on point. Hell everyone in our secondary is doing a great job

This team FINALLY has a true center-field free safety. That's allowing Church and Wilcox to be what they are...strong safeties.

Anthony Brown looks like the duplicate 5th-round pick that Orlando Scandrick once was.

Now, if they can just build a pass rush this offseason, the defense could be markedly better really fast.

If the defense line plays like it did vs Cincinnati , boy we are in business, Ryan Davis looks like a good pick up, Collins looks like he's getting better every game. I seriously believe this draft is the best one we have in ages. Mcclay did his job this year

Several things happened to change all for the better.

1. Henderson out, and Greg Jackson in. I been saying Henderson needs to go for 3 years now. I wanted Baker gone too. But he is doing fine. Show you what I know about him LOL.
2. Jones at FS, a true FS.
3. Carr moving back to the right side, his more natural position.
4. Claiborne being healthy all throughout the off season as well as TC, also looks bigger and stronger. May the left side is his more natural place.
5. So now our SS can play a true SS, stay up in the box. Make big hits too.

...and Terrell McClain is the best player on the defense. That guy is playing great.

They are playing better, but have faced only one QB so far that is in the top 10 in terms of QB rating, and that guy was Brian Hoyer.

New coaches, Mo healthy, Byron at FS.

I think Eberflus to passing defense coordinator is underrated. Rob didn't want to lose that guy. I think he's our future DC.

There's definitely something going on with the coaching in the secondary. Corners getting their heads around and making plays on the ball is something we simply haven't been seeing for years. Jones' impact is definitely helping too, roaming back there and letting the corners play a bit more aggressive.
