Joe DeCamillis: Before and After?

So I was watching the game again and noticed shots of DeCamillis, and I noticed that his neck seem to be jutting out now or maybe it's something else. I thought maybe that's the way he'd always been but I found an older picture of him and that doesn't seem to be the case.

I mean the guy is obviously a trooper, but I can't help but feel bad for him and the others that went through this thing and now have had their lives changed. I'm still praying everything works out for the best for all of them.

Not sure in this case. But wearing a neck brace for a considerable amount of time will lead to tightness and shortening of the neck muscles which could cause severe stiffness in that area.

Pretty sure a lawsuit has just been filed by DeCamillas and Bheam (sp?).

Cervical spine issues are serious business...It's not a simple, one and done kinda surgery...Probably had spinal fusion and that in it of itself will change the range of motion...Plus, who knows what kind of nerve issues he continues to have.

He'll be dealing with neck issues the rest of his life

I have a feeling if the players execute the way he instructs them they will greatly improve. The guy is driven and will light fires under guys behinds that fail to tackle and block correctly.
And, on Austin's 78 yard opening return the call against Hurd was awful just like the spotting of the ball later on. That was a huge strike against our ST.

Obviously I am not sure about this, but he may also be wearing a brace, or support that is throwing everything out of whack balance wise...his stance in that bottom photo seems like he is trying to compensate for something...
