I would pick Randle out of backs we have on roster. I am just not sure he can tote the rock on a regular basis, week in and week out. I think he gets popped a few times against the better defenses and wont be much after that.

He's got a fair number of really big plays from his relatively small number of rushes last season, anyway.

Yeah, he has talent..... I would like to see him worked into the passing game as well. screens, check out into the flat as a safety valve. He does well in open space.

He runs "quick". Makes his cut and goes.....and runs with a voilent like approach, even though he is on the small side. Just built small. Has power, but small. i worry about him holding up.

I am big on AP, and still think we bring someone else in to compete for the position. But, if that doesn't happen, I think Randle would be the guy who gets his shot.

With the backs on the roster, you'd think we'd be using them in the passing game a lot more. That's something I keep predicting we're going to do more of. They keep talking about using Dunbar more, and that's basically what he's good for. But for whatever reason, we haven't done it. I guess I'm going to keep on predicting it for this season, too. It just makes too much sense.

I have no question if Randle can run and get his yards, he is talented. I just hope he can carry the load for 60 minutes. We haven't seen whether or not if he can rush for 25+ with the "dirty" yards mixed in.

I think that he can build into that role and hopefully, he won't be asked to rush for almost 400 times. Just stay healthy and out of trouble. It will be interesting to see who gets the majority of 3rd downs.....him or DMC.

I gotta admit, as someone who really wants to get AD or make a trade for another RB, Randle does look pretty good. I mean, everyone looks good in highlights, and a lot of it is the offensive line, but he seems to have good vision, a nice burst and decent speed (he must play faster than his 40).

I have high hopes for Randle. Here's hoping he can give 200-250 carries and 100-1250 yards. Im sure we'll see some breakaway runs again this year.

My favorite was the long run vs Seattle. Murray was plodding along up to that point and Randle broke a 40 yarder. Then Murray started picking it up.

I also loved Randle's attitude on that play. The Hawks had been pushing us around a fair bit before that run. He burst through them and then just plastered Sherman at the end of that run to send a message that we weren't going to back down from them.

I don't know whether he is a 20-carry per game RB. I don't think he has to be here with McFadden, Williams and Dunbar around to take some of the load off of him. I do think he is the best all-around RB we have on the roster right now.

I wouldn't give him more than 20 touches per game but I can see him doing a lot with 5 of those to put him over 100 yds for the day...

I don't think he can take the pounding over the entire season. That said, 15-20 carries per game and at the end of the year he would have 1200 yards behind this line.

I can promise you I will not be upset with him being our primary RB. Honestly would rather him then dirty Darren. I just haven't seen anything great come from Darren but then again who has seen anything great out of chokland in a while...

Because he runs to daylight and has the gear to get there. Murray was getting ran down from behind.

So did Felix Jones until he had to be the bellcow. Lots of guys have good averages until then. I'm not saying he can't do it, I'm just saying I hope you're right but I'm not convinced that he is as good as Murray just yet...

It is surprising how many times he was able to break off a long run. I don't want to take anything away from Demarco because I know many back ups have done this for whatever reason, but it does make you wonder what he would be able to do if he was given the ball 15-20 times a game. Was his big runs a product of fresh legs at the right time when the defense is tired or does he have the right vision and style to routinely run through these lanes...

Now if its about fresh legs and McFadden is able to turn some big runs in like Randle could last year then each guy getting 10-12 carries per game could work out very nicely.
