anyone? anyone? Bueller? I know someone posted his Pro Day workout, but here are his #s again:

6'6" 306, 1.65 10-yard dash, 4.79 40:eek: 4.4 short-shuttle, 7.09 3-cone drill, 32" vertical

he benched 225, 27 times at the Combine, one less than Joe Thomas

he could realistically pack on 20 more pounds and still be arguably the most mobile OT in the league, no way he's around at our pick in the 2nd, some scouts are characterizing his workout as being the most impressive they ever witnessed for an Olineman

to put his #s in perspective, his 1.65 10-yard dash was barely slower than Troy Smith's, his 4.79 40 was better than Quentin Moses' and only 0.09 slower than Jarvis Moss', his 20 yard shuttle was even w/ Jarvis Moss', his 3-cone drill time was barely faster, and he out-weighs each by at least 40lbs.

he also looked great in Senior Bowl workouts show-casing tremendous power and quick feet, I'm just imagining him and McQ as our bookends at OT, and I like it, it's him, Meachem or Spencer for me in the 1st

btw, if we can trade down and still get Staley, even better

also, ECU WR Aundrae Allison needs to get more love, I've only seen Stanley Spadowski talk about him, but I see alot of Tory Holt in the guy, he was one of the more impressive receivers at the Senior Bowl and had a great Combine, he's a deep threat w/ the innate ability to seperate from Dbacks, and he also looked very comfortable and explosive returning punts at the Senior Bowl, he's somebody the Cowboys have expressed interest in, and who I wouldn't mind taking if we don't take a WR in the 1st

Joe Staley sure isn't a very intimidating offensive lineman name.

I'll stick with Columbo and Flozell.

Flozell is soon to be 32 and is in his last year under contract and Columbo is 29, and is replaceable in a couple of years once Staley gets strength and his feet under him

It would be a bit of a reach at 22 but some team is going to take that risk with this guy

It wouldn't be sexy but it would probably go down as one of the greastest pick we have made. Staley will be a star at the next level.

Colombos got 4 years left if he stays healthy but Flo is outta here next year unless we franchise him. We need a replacement this year and McQ just doesnt have me jumping up and down in excitement. I would quite like this pick but I wouyld like us to pick up a WR in the first 2 rounds.

I've been touting this guy a bit myself. I had hoped he'd be there in Round 2 but with his recent stellar workout, that's not gonna happen. I'd be thrilled if Dallas took him at #22. Give him a year in the NFL and he'd be ready to take over for Adams in '08. And the Cowboys would have their franchise LT for the next decade.

I love how all you scouts have all this figured out already.

If you'd just give us a list of players who will will make multiple pro bowls out of this draft then we can start narrowing our search.

This guy is intriguing and a real wild card.....but #22? I don't think so. He'll go late 1st or early 2nd IMO. BTW-he went to high school in Rockford, MI which is 5 minutes from my house and Central Michigan U. which is 1 hour from my house. There's your "worthless fact of the day" my friends!;)

:lmao2: he's rated the 3rd best OT by at least Mike Mayock, and he's moving to that spot in many other accounts, no way he gets past Chicago in the 1st

OT (Flo), WR (Glenn/Owens), CB(Henry/Glenn), DT (Fergs), and RB (Jones) are all positions that are not needs this year but will likely be needs next year. I would like to see one of these positions at each of our picks on the first day.

Oh, that's easy:

Justin Blalock, OG/OT, Texas
Aaron Ross, DB, Texas
Michael Griffin, DB, Texas
Brian Robison, DE/OLB, Texas
Tim Crowder, DE/OLB, Texas...

I thought about including Lyle Sendlein, Kasey Studdard and Selvin Young on the list, then figured that would be silly... :lmao2:
