Joey Bosa is the pick if he's there at #4.

If you watch Brandon Weeden college highlights he looks like the next tom brady too

Spread offenses.. You never know what you'll get when they go to a pro style offense.

That's what scares me about Goff.

Joey Bosa is not the pick! He was left one on one on many occasions in the Big 10 and only had 7.5 sacks. He is not an elite athlete for that position. With that pick, the player needs to be a quick twitch athlete. I would rather Spence than him at 4. He is more like the Chis Long cat for the Rams. A solid player, but not a game changer. We have too many average players on the roster already. Thus a 4-12 record and the inability to overcome one or two injuries like other teams do every season. Just say no to Bosa! :-(

That's what I think, if he's here at 4 he should be the pick, if we trade down I see us getting Zeke. Many people have Zeke going to Giants, I wouldn't want to against him the next 5 years, Heck no.

I do not want the Giants getting either of these two things with their choice, Elliott or one of the better elite rushers like Spence.

They do that, they instantly improve their positioning in the division.

If we don't take a QB, my top three choices at #4 would be Bosa, Jack or Elliot.

This sounds exactly what people on this board were saying about Watt. "He might be a good player, but I'd be mad if we took him at 9. I'd rather have Quinn, Clayborn or Luiget if we are going to go dline" was the majority opinion here.

And he doesn't show the physical traits that would lead you to believe he'll do it at the next level..

The guy looks so overrated.

I think he is a good Rex Ryan player. In that mutiple from scheme he can move around and play at different spots where he may present a matchup problem. In a scheme that is going to ask him to be an RDE or LDE he will be very ordinary IMO

id rather draft the best player from Ohio State which is Zek over Bosa who should be ranked ahead of him on our board

Bosa will be a perennial pro bowler. His ability to control blockers with his length, power and hand usage is the best since JJ Watt. His speed to power conversion is elite by any measurable. And he has a motor that never stops. These are traits that are easily translated to success at the next level.

A lot of people had the same concerns about Watt, that he'd never be great... one day people will realize that football skills are technique are what we should care about. Bosa wins the right way and does so consistently, he will be a stud.

He's not Chris Long... Long was 6-3 260. Bosa is 6-6 280... that is a big difference when you're talking about advantages in leverage on the edge.

Read an interesting stat about Bosa. He haD more TFLs in 2015 than Clowney had his whole career.

The kids a beast at a premier position and loves the game of football. Sign me up for that all day long.

He's not a explosive and not a lot of tools that would make you believe he projects well as a NFL pass rusher.

I don't want to use a top 5 pick on a guy that gives you Greg Ellis type production.

Watching highlights of Bosa on Youtube, I had to laugh out loud at how easily he dominated anyone facing him. He plays multiple positions, having manned all four in OSU's 4-3 front. Forget his purported sagging stats compared to 2014. In 2015, Bosa faced double & triple teams constantly, yet was still awarded Big Ten Defensive Player of the Year once again. He had just five sacks, yet had 16 TFLs, 15 QBHs, & put at least two QBs out of the game this year. Of all the defensive linemen I've scouted, none plays even close to Bosa's level. Bosa is incredibly strong, often tossing offensive linemen aside like rag dolls. Just when they get set for another bull rush, Bosa sweeps passed them with his speed. His hands are as quick as his feet, which allows him to separate faster than anyone in the NCAA. Add relentless tenacity, & I believe that Bosa is better coming out of college than J.J. Watt was. Not saying he will grow to become a Watt, but Bosa will walk into camp as the hands down best DL on the team. The fact that he can play anywhere, including OLB, will have Rod Marinelli drooling. If Bosa's not there at 4, I hope the team trades down a couple of times & picks up extra 2nd round picks, then takes Zeke Elliott at around 16.

The knock on Bosa is his size and that he may not be as effective against much bigger NFL competition. But I like him too however I would rather they go with Ramsey. As much as I want to upgrade the D-line I don't see the value at #4. I'm hoping we can get some pass rush through FA.

Every coach in the Big Ten voted him the DPOY again, so I think they know a little more than you what an impact player he was & is.

Carl Nassib won the Big Ten's Nagurski-Woodson Defensive Player of the Year in 2015.
The award is voted on by the coaches and media. So I guess if those coaches know a little more than us, they would prefer we draft Nassib.

Read an interesting stat about Bosa. He haD more TFLs in 2015 than Clowney had his whole career.

Also interesting that Nassib had 19.5 TFL despite missing several games at the end of the year. He had 15.5 sacks over that abbreviated period too.

Not arguing that he should be drafted as high as Bosa since he was in essence a 1 year wonder, but if you are looking at 2015 production it's pretty amazing.

Bosa also comes across as a guy that has the potential for some Suh like fines and suspensions. Appears to have some "rage" issues.
