What in the world is the difference between these two? I've been watching highlights and listening to ppl on them, but it seem like they are both just high motor guys. What are the chances either even makes the team or PS? Is there anyone on the DL either has a chance at replacing?

Cedric Thornton had better wake up. He was a major disappointment last year.

I thought he was up and down. He would split double teams and penetrate nicely and then get caught trying to stunt the B gap and taken for a ride from behind by the C a few plays later.

He was a 2 gap player for his NFL career before he got here. and working gaps upfield is a different animal to stacking the los and pushing. New techniques, new reads or screws as Rod calls them, and new things OL do you have to watch out for and counter. He did improve and he does have nice power and quickness for the position.

Ivie was entirely Rod Marinelli's pick. Stephen said that pick made Marinelli more giddy than any of the defensive picks because he loves powerful guys like Ivie that never take off a play.

You could tell from the fist bumps and the phone call.

He seemed much smaller (lighter) than when he was in Philly. It seemed like he put some weight back on as the season progressed.

In Philly he was one of the better players in the league defending the run while being blocked by Zack Martin.
