Joey Thomas-punt returner?

Joey thomas is supposed to be very fast and seems to have good hands; I wonder if he has ever returned punts?

Don't know anything about his background but I would hope that Cowboys would have considered all there players since we need a punt returner. I suspect the Cowboys want a player who will stick with the team and not a player who might not stick but we forced keep him just for that purpose. Maybe we will know more next week.

It looks like the closest he came at Montana State were kickoff returns.
