exactly my friend!! i think theres a slight chance they fire schoen or he resigns out of frustration. i don't think the NYG let harbaugh get away.

I'll say this for the last time I am not worried about him being their head coach great they upgraded who cares he will get signed I think they're having a battle on power structure that's what I heard I don't think he wants to be overruled by a GM..

I think he wants to be GM and head coach or at least have GM powers to a point with the roster..

So maybe they're doing something to where they either fire their current GM or at least have a meeting with him to try to work it out.

That way they can work together....

But for the Cowboys, I don't mind them adding better competition in the division,

it makes Jerry have to open his eyes he sees a name like Harbaugh now with the Giants with a very young core of players that with the right coaching actually might be a team to challenge the cowboys now instead of them being a doormat.


Think this would be good for the Cowboys,

because there's no way Jerry can sit look over there and think that they're not going to be better and they're not going to be an automatic two wins even with Prescott who beats most of the division including this year if you really look at the games they could have swept Philadelphia easily and they're supposed to be the cream of the crop in the NFC East right back to back winners they've been in the Super Bowl and the championship games lately and they're not exactly killing the Cowboys..

Though kudos to the Giants if they hire a solid coach and if it works out they're going to make the Cowboys have a better offseason maybe even get more serious with the DC may even have to switch philosophies on who they might have hired to maybe counter Harbaugh's arrival both draft, FA, and the DC.

I'll believe it when I see it, if they actually hire Harbaugh. It feels like he's having some reservations about signing to coach again this fast. I think he wanted more time away from the game to fall in love with it. Not sure the timing of it matches up with his life. That's only my working theory.

Well when you use Cowboys fan logic this is a good thing because we all know he’s just a retread and isn’t really all that good of a coach. I mean that’s what I hear.

so boom benefit Cowboys... This guys resume is almost the same as Mike Mccarthys but apparently the Cowboys never hire a coach like this even though we had a nice little streak with Mike Mccarthy apparently the Giants know how to get it done even though their last three head coaches have been far worse than the ones the cowboys have hired.

We're going to give credit to the Giants organization that took losing to us like 18 of the last 21 meetings, to finally go out and get a better coach, finally,

because now they know somebody like Harbaugh on the division is a wake up call, it's not a guarantee the Giants are going to be better, but it definitely will wake them up, and go hey the Giants might not be pushovers let alone the fact of what they did to us the last game.

How do you always say that that Jerry does this one way and never a different way well he traded Parsons, that was huge whether people liked the trade or didn't like the trade, that's something he never does ,is let go of a drafted superstar they have never got out of here without getting a big contract, and he did it, and he made a solid trade albeit to a rival which I hate,

He turns around and he starts paying guys early, regardless if you like who he paid or it didn't workout, so far ,he's using the money then he turned out made a big trade in the middle of the season for a DT, and then he fired a coach who he loved, only after one season and ate the contract..

You think about the last five years versus the 25 before it,

i'm tired of hearing about the drought and nothing will ever change you can tell other people are involved in these decision makings more than they used to be..

Some of US, believe will Mcclay at least has been about 50% the GM around here, he's not doing all the GM duties ,Then you add Stephen and others in it jerry has been taken out of the equation as the sole decision maker and he is listening to his coaches and his people around him in the front office more than he used to..

Yes in the past I get it 20 years ago it was really bad the 2000s were horrible with Jerry being a meddler the last ten years it has been a lot less the last five years even more i'm telling you I don't feel like Jerry's been an acting GM at all in any capacity except title only that you will never give up but I believe he's gone to a group effort with a little bit of Will Mcclay Steven Jones he's allowing a very big man is aerial department that the Cowboys have with the 1200 employees that they have that maybe swept under the rug as this was some mom and pop hardware store on the corner that just ran with two people?

No it's a giant corporation and I believe things have been changing while very slow from the last 10 years to where we are now and I think Jerry has given up all or at least most of his GM duties he has deferred to others.

But if you wanna example of somebody who might be worse What if Jerry was down on the sideline with a headset and a call sheet,

that's right the daughter missus Irsay, not only does this at practice she does it at games ,she's literally on the sideline with a headset and sheet.....

There's been other examples I can't remember them but sometimes yes the owner Oversteps the GM's power and does get involved We even seen this with Bill Belichick with Tom Brady being in the middle and then the owner when they wanted to go a different direction the owner overstepped Bill Belichick and didn't replace Brady early and probably lucky they didn't they wanted to get rid of him the owner said no that means they went over the head of the GM and the head coach because Brady went and complained in the office this happens probably more often than we think but yes you're right not to the level of Jerry Jones..

I believe Jerry Jones gets more satisfaction with the way things are with the Cowboys than he would if he overtly emulated how more competitive teams manage their organization.
