Peter king: JFF3: … Browns are so done with the guy. I will be stunned if he ever plays another snap for Cleveland. He wants to go to Dallas.

i don't blame him. dallas is much nicer than cleveland.

but I hope he's planning on opening a lawn care business in dallas, or something, because he sure isn't going to be a cowboy.

I think you can get Manziel for peanuts, and it offers us a really good opportunity to get someone who can

A) Be a backup
B) Be the future of the team

Without wasting a high draft pick.

Are there concerns with him and his personality and behavior? Absolutely, there are. With that being said though, the risk involved with draft a quarterback high warrants looking for other avenues to address the position, especially when you have a franchise quarterback with the clock ticking on them.

This guy is a talent less cancer worse than TO

And?

It's worthless Garrett-speak. Tell me who wouldn't want to emulate the Cowboys' dynasty of the 90's?

The fact is that all of this talk of Garrett being the guy behind these offensive linemen is a load. The fact is that the only player that they had a solid plan for drafting was Tyron Smith. Fredrick was a fortunate trade down and Martin was 'Plan D' when players they wanted more (all non-offensive line) were already gone.

Lmao Hakenburger in the 2nd? Even after getting Johnny na, you get Johnny you don't draft QB that high, and if we don't and draft a QB high hope it's not him lol he can go to Houston.

Odds are against them and again, you're taking a huge risk with Romo's remaining time. Drafting a qb in the first with him on the clock makes no sense. Romo is a top 5 QB in the league, if he can't win with this team, why expect a future QB to have anymore success?

Concentrate on making this the best team you can, so that when any QB comes along they are in a good position.

Manziel can sit behind Romo for 3 years and mature as a person and a player in the meantime.

I don't think Romo has three years left, injuries are mounting up and another year like this and I think he hangs-em up.

I see no reason to sign Manziel or RGIII. Both have major baggage and neither is good enough to be the franchise QB we need. We need to draft and develop a young high end prospect and sign a FA to be a backup for the next year or two.
