Jon Benet Ramseys parents were cleared by the Boulder county DA saying that "New DNA technology has cleared anyone in the immediete Ramsey family.

Jon Benet Ramsey was killed in her home and found in the basement in December of 1996. No arrests have ever been made. A cloud of suspicion has always lingered over the Ramseys since that time.

Per MSNBC.

In somewhat related news, this is bizarre:

John Ramsey and Beth Holloway Twitty Are Dating

Monday, June 04, 2007

In a match seemingly made in tabloid heaven, the father of murdered child beauty queen JonBenet Ramsey and the mother of missing-in-Aruba teen Natalee Holloway are dating, FOX News has confirmed.

John Ramsey, 63, and Beth Holloway Twitty, 46, have been romantically involved since January 2007, though the two met at a fundraiser last year.

The couple has been spotted openly holding hands and kissing in Mountain Brook, Ala. — where Twitty lives — and at an art show at a nearby art museum. They've also been seen at various restaurants.

Ramsey on Monday denied the reports that they are dating. He said that he and Twitty have a special friendship based on tragedy.

Ramsey's wife and JonBenet's mother, Patsy Ramsey, died last June of ovarian cancer at the age of 49. Twitty was officially divorced from George "Jug" Twitty in December.

Both single parents share the tragedy of children who are victims of unsolved crimes.

Child beauty-pageant winner JonBenet Ramsey was 6 years old when she was killed in December of 1996. She had been beaten and strangled, and her body was found the day after Christmas in the basement of her own home in Boulder, Colo.

JonBenet's parents were the initial focus of the investigation, but they maintained their innocence and said an intruder must have committed the crime. No one was ever arrested and the little girl's murder remains unsolved.

Eighteen-year-old Natalee Holloway disappeared in Aruba while on a high school senior class trip in May of 2005 and has never been found, though she is presumed to have been murdered.

Three different teenaged suspects who lived on the island and were last seen with Holloway were arrested and later released in the case.

The media headlines are ridiculous. This does not clear the family. They found the same trace DNA on her underware and stockings and it wasn't of the Ramsey family. So what?

What about the ransom letter? My friend who is a leading handwriting expert(secret service trained) has said, and wrote in her book, that there is like a 96% probability that Pat Ramsey wrote the ransom note. The handwriting matches. She analyzed it well in her book Sex, Lies and Handwriting.

Why did the mother write the ransom letter?

I agree, What about the mountain of evidence that still points to the Parents? I believe they had something to do with it.

Part of me agrees with Ninja and CBfan55. There is a mountain of evidence pointing at the parents. Alot of it circumstantial yes, I will admit. But there are just some wacky, wacky things in this case that I've never been able to get past.

The fact that the paper and pen that wrote the ransom note were FROM the house, just bothers me to no end. Who kidnaps a kid and stops in a darkened house to look for paper and pen? I'm not a criminal, but I'd like to think I would do that before entering the house.

Also, the ransom amount for 112K I believe, when just a week earlier Mr Ramsey got a bonus check for that exact same amount. How could anyone outside of payroll or a few other people in his office know that?

I don't think we'll ever know for sure, but if anyone knows much about this case, they will be the first to admit that some of the stuff surrounding it is absolutely bizzare.

I didn't know that.

Yep. It was a real odd figure he just recieved as a bonus, and the note was for the exact amount.

Weird.

I just double checked. It was $118,000. Both the bonus and the ransom note.
