Jon Kitna 14 years as an NFL quarterback: 169 TDs 165 Int's o_O

:clap:Jason Garrett

Kellen Moore 3 years as an NFL quarterback: 4 TD's 6 Int's o_O

It's obvious Jerry likes had beens backups coaching his team.

He knows we don't have anyone to compete with Dak, so let's just be as "good as we can get."

In terms of actually promoting a competitive atmosphere, wouldn't it be a terrific idea to do so?

White and Rush been dropping ducks and ints all off season. Which I'm surprised isn't getting attention here. If Dak go down it's over.

Now name all the great QBs who have become great QB coaches.
Name the ones that go into coaching at all.

Of course, Kitna wasn’t really a “great” QB - he had to work his butt off and learn to even get a chance to make a team much less ever get playing time or start. And, of course, there are no guarantees with Kitna, but understanding the position from a player’s perspective as well as a coach’s perspective certainly isn’t a bad thing.

and that is where good coaches come from ...

Of course, most NFL coaches, including Belichick, Jimmy Johnson and other highly successful coahes in all coaching roles, are “never were’s“

Whoa, I googled it and it's true! Perhaps he believed in equal opportunity for both his offense and the opposition's defense! :muttley:

And to think he's coaching our QB!! Seems a bit scary when you think about it. Anyhow, here's hoping it's not contagious, huh?

Just not feeling this guy - he models his coaching style after Garrett?....

The fawning over Dak, such a young QB is over the top imo.

Wanna build an NFL player - challenge em like a Parcells or Johnson. When a player has to tell a coach to push em - that's a

red flag to me.

Kit a is t the head coach like Parcells and Johnson. He has a different role that doesn’t work with acrimony.

I don't know - now yes I agree he can't be like a Kris R getting into his secondary' face BUT the last thing a young QB

need to hear is how special he is, its the whole anointing oil thing.
