I'm not. We can't keep using 1st rounders every time we need a lineman. Other teams can find linemen in the 2nd and 3rd and 4th rounds. I advise the Cowboys to do the same.
an OL in the 1st round and a swing tackle fa, the ol returns to dominate.
get a bpa wr or lb in the 2nd round, and the other position in the 3rd round.
then 1tech and another lb in the 4th
for the rest, draft ol, rb, fs in the later round lottery tickets

They need to upgrade this position either in a signing, trade, or anywhere outside the 1st round.

Heck... I'm fine with moving Lael back to Guard if a good tackle can be found.

This team has HEAVILY invested in their offensive line with Tyron, Fredericks and Martin. The line should be dominate anyway. Factor in stealing Collins? That's essentially 4 young offensive linemen in their primes who were projected 1st round guys and 3 of them are All Pro's.

This team would be moronic to sit there and look at what they have at safety, wide receiver and linebacker and chose with the 19th pick in the draft a linemen. For what? To have a luxury on the offensive line?

Yeah he really stepped it up and solidified that position last season. Definite upside if he can keep it up. Makes complete Cowboys sense to let him walk and make G a must for the draft. The hits keep coming.

Cooper was average. He did a decent job while in there but I also feel being between Smith and Beard covered up a lot of his warts.

Can someone get Jerry another one of those fancy drinks with the umbrella on top, please?... oh, and some sunscreen too.
Jerry does not water down his booze. He needs straight alcohol. He would be carrying about a 5 gallon bucket if was sipping mixed drinks.

you realize we don't have a starting LG or any backups at all, and i don't think Lael should be moved from RT either.

I'd trot out another Cooper type over watching our linebackers get smoked in coverage.

Also, you have to treat Sean Lee and Jaylon Smith like they are nothing more then a bonus because Lee is not dependable and Jaylon has looked like more of a liability then not.

I agree. Initially I was against moving Collins back. But if you can get a solid tackle which Fleming seems to be....i'm for it. But they better address line anywhere but the 1st round. Unless Nelson somehow falls to them which wouldn't happen but it has to be a extreme case for me to chose line that high.

There's also a strong possibility he doesn't play another down in the league.

I disagree. If they liked Chaz Green before last season......then they should still like him now. They are the ones who played him out of position. I don't blame him for that.

From the looks of things, we were not interested.

Hernandez at 19 it is then.

I don't know all of the details of his injury but I would think there is a specialist out there that could keep him going.

I'm not sure if Dallas has forced him to be around team doctors or what but he's in California now supposedly working with someone so we'll see. This year will tell us a lot.

I'm not saying LB isnt a need....but technically you have Lee Jaylon and Wilson as starters. and your right you cant trust Lee to stay healthy
