Anyone watch this? I remember being 19 and coming up with three conclusions back then:

1.The Parents did not kill her

2.The Parents know who killed her

3.The Parents are covering up for who killed her

Now I never even thought of her brother as the one who did it, not for one second.

Thoughts on that they are about to say unanimously from the investigators that it was her brother?

It was the one who left the shoe prints and the DNA. Not her brother.

Sounds to me like someone hit her in the head with a blunt object (perhaps the flashlight), not intending to do so much damage. It probably sent her into a coma and she was probably going to be a vegetable in someone's opinion, so she was strangled as a "mercy killing."

That ransom note was ridiculous and obviously someone was covering something up.

I doubt we will ever know the truth, but the person responsible for it will have to answer for it in the long run.

They killed an innocent little girl. There cant be a day that goes by that that doesnt haunt. At least thats what I like to belive about humanity, but that could be some rose smelling on my part

I do believe that whether traditional or not. Religious or atheist. There is always a reckoning. We all pay in one way or another for what we do. Good or bad.

Makes for great TV. The truth will never be known. There are so many unsolved heinous crimes. The media has been picking at this scab, for profit, for too many years.

Her brother wraps up part 3 on Dr. Phil today.

I'm anxious to hear what the good doc has to say about all this at the end of the show.

I think someone inside the house knows the truth.

Remember that case when it happened. Still can't believe it has gone unsolved all this time.

he more of less laughed at anyone who thought the brother did it, claiming he was 9 years old. while I think a 9 year old is certainly capable of doing something like this, I don't think a 9 year could hide it when interviewed.

as far as the parents go, he seemed to go with the "Boulder police targeted them" theory, which may be true. I just don't see how intruders could have broke into the house (maybe they were already in), go up stairs, get her and bring her down without being heard. and I don't see any kidnapper being crazy enough to write the ransom note while in the house (but again, maybe the broke in earlier in the day).

1 - unaccounted DNA (from JonBenet) that doesn't match any of the family members.
2 - shoeprint found that no one in the house owned or wore.
3 - garrote used for her neck. (you think the parent or brother would know about that and use it on her?)

Saw a special on NBC about a week ago, everyone seems to be reflecting back on it seeing that it's been 20 years since the crime. Everything appears to point to the parents but they never had enough evidence to charge them. The mother died a few years ago but I'm convinced as are many who investigated the case that the parents were involved.

Part of me believes the cops got mad because they lawyer-ed up and were determined to pin it on them regardless of where the evidence took them.

It's just BS to capitalize further on the "real crime" stuff that's been popular ever since Serial did their podcast. I'm not watching this sensationalist crap.

Pretty much.

The wife and I are watching though, mainly because she actually had not heard of Jonbenet Ramsey.

But I've been pretty annoyed about their conclusions thus far. They "cleaned up" audio from the 911 call and seemed pretty convinced they know what was said in the background... Just BS.

Really it should be about that little girl who was taken far too soon. And not about the suspects. As really twenty years going on. This is getting annoying!
But keep in mind only the parents and her older brother were in the house on that fateful night.:(

Again, who put the DNA on JonBenet and left the shoeprint in the basement?

yeah, that struck me as an exceptional reach

I was thinking there is no way I could convict someone based on their "clean-up" of that audio

the show feels like they think the Ramseys did it and are looking at all the evidence through that prism

It's always amazing to me how quickly we catch people who are terrorists (like the moron in NY over the weekend), but we can't figure out more simplistic cases like this.
