Jones doesn't want to return to 'Boys

Julius Jones - RB - DAL - Jan. 8 - 2:06 am et Potential free agent Julius Jones reportedly has zero interest in staying with the Cowboys beyond this season.
He wants to be a feature back, but will likely be disappointed after averaging a career worst 3.5 YPC in 2007. Jones would still be a nice fit in an offense that needs an explosive pace change. Arizona and Chicago make sense. Jan. 8 - 2:06 am et

Feature back lol
That's convenient, since the organization and 99% of the fanbase have zero interest in dude sticking around. Have fun disapponting the hell out of whatever team is dumb enough to pay you a dime, Julius.:laugh2:

I have been saying that for a while. I felt Jones would want to move on with a fresh start elsewhere and take on the lead role or at least have a chance at that role. I don't know how it will work out for him but Barber has established himself as the top RB on this team.

Well, let's pack in and go home. What's the use of following a Julius Jones-less team?

I hear the Raiders might win a few games next year, seems they got this great coaching/front office situation going so maybe...

Explosive pace change! More like explosive ground hitter.

Implosive pace changer. What you need if you ran 4 yards the last play and want to get 0.

Well if Wade has caught wind of this... and how could he not... just forget the pleasantries and start MB3 in the playoffs.

"Explosive"!? Julius Jones!? They must be thinking of something else...

OUR Julius Jones averages 3.5 per carry and doesn't have a gain of more than 25 yards all year. And he's had 187 touches.

The real question though is: Now that we know he feels that way, can we afford to play him at all during the playoffs? I'm not sure I could trust a guy who let his feelings be known like that.

Thanks for your time and effort jujo.

I hope you spend the playoffs watching from the sidelines. Give MBIII a breather every now and again.

I consider any series with JUJO as primary back a punt situation waiting to happen.

I didn't see Jones quoted in that post. Are we sure this isn't just more of the media thinking they know the guys mind? Is he saying anything publicly trying to cause an issue?

While I think JJ could have done much better this year and obviously I think he will not be back, I don't know if this is a problem for us in the Playoffs. Unless he says something in the media I wouldn't worry about it.

Did we get any sort of report on why he was pissed off on the sidelines in Washington?

He seemed to be the only one showing any fire.

What is up with the local media that they don't even ask about this stuff?
