TB has been playing better and better all year. Very solid this year. Did you know he was #1 in the NFC in pro bowl voting?

That’s what happens when you force a pick. You tend to miss. Right now this pick reminds me a lot of the Taco pick, at a different position group of course.

I was not aware of his popularity, but that doesn’t change my view of the player. He isn’t horrible but he is a lot like Connor Williams—his play leaves a lot to be desired.

Parsons is a generational talent so he alone made the 2021 an A+ (not to mention OSA) but it’s disappointing this kid hasn’t really even touched the field. I had high expectations for Bossman.

Based on what? Some of you guys saw him get pushed back a few times in the first few games against all pro DT's and you made up your minds already. Biadasz has been playing well.

Biadasz is way better than Connor Williams was his rookie year.

Sounds like you really liked the pick. If so, I hope you were right. So far, he has Taco level “bust potential”.

When you start jamming picks into needs you end up reaching . Shante Carver Ekuban Claiborne come to mind. I hope Joseph and Wright from this years draft show something this year otherwise an entire yr
on the rookie contract is gone .

The Cowboys had no idea Parsons and Cee Dee would fall to them and they are better then reaching.

That’s not really saying a lot. I have not been a big CW fan, but hey, everyone is entitled to their own view of things.

The draft is very much an inexact science.

Just look at Trevor Lawrence. A can’t miss generational talent we were told by all the experts.

He is completing only 54% of his passes and has more interceptions than TD’s.

The Cowboys started off the draft with a BANG in Parsons. Huge hit so far. Can you imagine if they had selected Humphrey in the second and their first third round pick, and stuck to their draft board the rest of the way, how good this draft class might be? Epic.

I consider this his rookie year as he was injured most of last year.

I give kid a 6 overall on a scale of 1-10. I think thats good considering its his first year starting. He needs to get up to a full 8 by next year.

If you inferred that, then look again. I'm remarking about your supposition.

I was not thrilled with the pick, at all, but was, and still am, hoping for the best out of him. It would be nice if one of Jerry’s wildcat second round picks would turn into a gusher for once in a great while.

The TEAM, THE Players do NOT have to justify anything to a common fan..they dont work for you..you can be fan or choose to not be fan, dont watch if you cant stand it..

let me remind fans that all draft picks rounds 1-7 are considered developmental players and all come into the league needing further coaching to reach their upside..some surprise and are more then nfl ready but other even top 5 picks take time to learn and adapt. Seriously what kind of ignorant take is it to think a fan has right to judge players and say when they are supposed to develop? sop the DC FO is supposed to meet fans expectations, since when? who here goes and sticks their noses in the everyday operations at apple, coke, pepsi, amazon, microsoft, AMC, Redbox , walmart, Nike, and other companies they buy stuff from? do you go and check in on employees , salaries, whether they are making their budgets and quotas? lmao no you dont, this is product we choose to follow and watch and some support through merchandise and attending games but its not much different then going in and getting coffee at Starbucks, you ask them to open their books and explain every move they make within the actual business, football for the FO side is a business, its a corporation, its providing product but its not here for those to think they are doing things wrong or right. ..fans don't comprehend this is no different then most products ,it gives us a distraction and something to pull for and entertainment. Nothing more nothing less, you all do NOT have say in the operations of the team..watch who they field or don't..

KJ was NOT a reach, hes got upside and is having rough year with injuries and personal issues, hes human we all go through this, yet players dont get all up in our business and get judgmental and make ridiculous claims....in time we will find out if hes solid pick or not..what if hes not?? you want your money back?? LOL folks, i mean do you own the team?

hindsight sure is nice to sit and chatter about but IDC if hes a first rounder or 7th rounder just because hes our 2nd round pick did not make it a demand for him to show his rookie season. thats an anomaly really , very few rookies come in and become solid starters ther first few years., they develop..thats a word and that's the reality.

impatient and egomaniacal fans who get spoiled by guy like Micha Parsons is the issue not the owner, coach or player in question..

they owe us nothing..seriously get a clue..

the dc drafting has been above average in the league and this draft we got many rookies who contributed this season some quicker then others Osa and Gholston have not been too bad , cox got hurt that sux KJ hasnt been able to prove anything yet but doesn't make the pick a reach..jeez..

we are still eaing on say Gregory who showing why we drafted him, patience is virtue.maybe even Hill will come around..theres not a time limit..

He wasn’t the BPA by a long shot. You don’t select guys who can’t play in the second round. You take guys like you are describing in the fourth round or lower.

I’m all fir “gambling” on a player with traits in an attempt to hit a home run. I am just against taking them near the top of the second round. I would have felt a lot better about the pick if he had been selected where we took Wright in the 3rd and better if we had taken Wright at the end of the draft.

I’m willing to give DQ the benefit of the doubt based on what he has milked out of this defense so far. But if DQ moves on it is going to be interesting how these “pigeon holed players” end up being used by the Cowboys going forward.

I am hoping for the best. Time will tell. I would rather see the Cowboys win than me be “right”. This is just message board discussion.

I am not sure why you come to a Cowboys message board if you are not willing to discuss the Dallas Cowboys. You are entitled to your opinions.

This post comes across as very emotional and defensive. I’m a fairly middle of the road sort of guy and I try to be objective.

The view of the draft class is like trying to hit a moving target. The arrow can be pointing up or down at any given time. Joseph’s arrow seems to be pointing down from where I stand, as of today. And Creed Humphrey’s arrow appears to be pointing up right now.

That might change tomorrow. I would be ok with that. But that wouldn’t change the fact that as of TODAY this pick is not looking all that great and there appear to be better options who were chosen behind him.

To me, that’s just a perceived fact. There is no emotional investment in that statement for me. But I realize that’s not true for everyone. That’s ok too. Just providing some perspective.

You can look at it however you want. That’s a fair statement. However, how we choose to look at it is not going to change the fact that he is a second year player.

So many of these reaches. So few of them turn out to be even marginal players.

If we didn’t have brown, he would e been forced to start abd probably struggles for a month. By now, he’d be playing well. He’s easily our most talented corner.
