dude is a sure handed tackler. he looked like a veteran out there tonight. If he keeps it up, third round steal. It's amazing that he's doing this with no training camp. Awuzie is another cb that likes to play physical as well. If woods pans out, we'll have a fun defense to watch.

Oakland Raiders[edit]

On April 29, 2013, Wetzel was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Oakland Raiders. On August 20, he was waived/injured by the Raiders. On the next day, he cleared waivers and was placed on the injured reserve list. On August 24, he was waived from the team with an injury settlement.

Dallas Cowboys[edit]

On November 12, 2013, he was signed by the Dallas Cowboys to the practice squad. On September 5, 2015, he was waived by the Cowboys.[2] On September 7, 2015, he was signed to the Cowboys' practice squad after clearing waivers.[3] On November 12, he was released.[4]

Indianapolis Colts[edit]

On November 24, 2015, Wetzel signed with the Indianapolis Colts practice squad.[5] He was released by the Colts on December 1.[6]

Arizona Cardinals[edit]

On December 9, 2015, the Arizona Cardinals signed Wetzel to their practice squad.[7] The Arizona Cardinals began starting Wetzel as their left tackle after October 31, 2016, to replace injured starting left tackle Jared Veldheer.

On March 7, 2017, Wetzel re-signed with the Cardinals

the smallest guy on the field sticking huge tackles and covering the WR's like an annoying gnat... colored me impressed.

did you pick up what he was doing at top of screen pre-snap? He was wiggling his head like...this is all you got NFL. Liking the 3 man pass rush with extra DB and let guys like Lewis be glue in coverage and not worry about big play with safety back.
