TJ Watt is officially holding out for a new deal

They’ve been to 8 conference championship game since the last time we were at one. I’ll take that type of mediocrity.
Cowboys have been to a Super Bowl in 1995.....has absolutely nothing to do with 2025 or my comment on how poorly they've been run. You can take that type of mediocrity i'd prefer what the Chiefs have done or Pats....conference championship may be a goal for this current Cowboys team but that does not get you out of being mediocre.

Cooper was definitely the most athletic Manning and likely would’ve been a successful NFL WR, but I seriously doubt he would’ve had the best NFL career of any Manning considering Peyton was a 1st Ballot HOF’er and one of the 3 or 4 greatest QB’s in NFL history. Even Eli is a HOF’er (though there’s an argument to be made that he shouldn’t have been).
Eli is not a HOFer. Missed out on his first year of eligibility in 25.

...that's not going to happen. Didnt he just get new deal, not long ago?

They are trying to rebuild, here comes Watt. ..lol..

Damn TJ is already 31? Damn time flies...oh yeah he and Micah are not gonna get the same deal....
His last contract set an NFL record for defensive ends. I’m sure he’s hoping to do it again, but he’s already had his big payday and has generational wealth.

I wonder if there's ever been a player to set the record for pay in a particular position group twice in a career. Brady would have been the most deserving but did he ever become highest paid even once?

Arch is going to be fine. I went to UT and follow them in the offseason, he wows in practice. He hasn’t had his chance yet but it starts in a few months
I’m not loyal to any CFB team, so I’m not Texas homer, and I think Arch is going to be awesome.

He has the size and physical ability, and his family is made up of hall of famers.

He has one of the clearest pasts to success that any highly recruited HS player has ever had.

Good for him. The Steelers have money to burn.
Plus he is one of the primary reasons for their defensive success. He is an impact player who can singlehandedly change a game.

I can’t blame a guy for knowing his value and wanting to be paid appropriately.

Yeah...sort of like Cooper Manning. I believe he was a WR. Guess he didn't go the QB route like his brothers.
He got injured young. But I’ve heard he was actually a good player. Really good athlete though neither brother is much competition as an athlete.
