What's really sad about that play is that none of the other Cardinal players came over to put something on Harrison.

If he had done that to me, I would have kick his knee in backwards.

Anyone who has ever played college ball will tell you that it is prevalent at that level and it is going to be prevalent at the highest level. No, not everyone does it. I certainly wouldn't speculate on a % because speculation is worthless. The testing procedures are designed to catch those who are monumentally stupid not to prevent them from being used.

Count me as one that believes that Walter Payton died as a result of steroids. He needed a transplant and I believe that was a result of using.

I heard rumors that he and Campbell were both users.

Romanowski without a doubt.

I'd test Owens he looks like a candidate.
They've tested him over and over, too bad he's just a work-out warrior, nice try though.

...and the MLB tested A-Rod hundreds of times, but that sure didn't mean he wasn't using.

Steroids is used by a high percentage of players. I know this because it is used by a high percentage in college.

Have you seen Barber lately? He makes TO look like a baby. Either that guy is sampson, or he's juicing.

Exactly and what are we going to call a "steroid"? By definition creatine is a steroid. Not to mention the boatload of over the counter Prohormones that can be bought from any nutrition store. I could care less if guys are juicing it made baseball at least watchable when guys are on the juice. I think it is pretty funny how much people complain about now but never once thought why a mid to late 30 year old ball player is out performing a guy in his 20's.

It seemed like he straight blew up after his rookie season.

But thats just a testament to how hard he works each offsesaon. Coach Jurasek says Barber is one of the, if not the hardest working players hes ever seen. Vikings WR Sydney Rice says Barbers workout makes him throwup daily.

He also has a pretty clean complexion (no homo) and his demeanor is the total opposite of your typical roid head.

I think it's safe to say that usage of banned substances is much higher in football than in baseball - the tangible benefits are at least as great, probably much greater, the penalties are lower (at this point), and the public tolerance is much much greater (people are seriously proposing a one-strike-and-you're-banned-for-life policy in baseball, but nobody even notices the fact that the first offense carries no suspension at all in football).

He does play with no regard for his own safety, or his own life. He plays like someone threatened his family.

It should carry that penalty it is cheating no matter how anyone wants to spin it. It puts pressure on clean athletes to use out of fear of losing their job to a player who are using. As far I'm concerned any player using anabolic steroid or other human growth hormones should be banned from the game
