The ideal situation is a 100% healthy Julius Jones as the starter and Marion Barber as the 3rd down back and chnage of pace back who still gets his carries every game. When both are healthy, I'm confident they can be a dangerous combination. It's just the 5 guys in front of them who need to be re-evaluated.
Anyways, im going with JJ, if he plays an injury-free season, next year, he will be a BEAST!!!!!!!
Barber should be used to take some of the carries away from Jones, 3rd down HB, should be used on some series as well, to give JJ a breather.
Julius Jones, but man Barber just seem so much better in the Red zone area. Jones is more of a '' I'll break a 30 yard run '' and Barber reminds me of Bettis [Not as big by any chance , but picks up the tough yards]
Although Julius will likely be opening day starter it'll only be a few weeks into the season until Barber starts considering Julius can't stay healthy.
It will be Julius Jones if he is strong and healthy in camp, but let him get injured in training camp and miss some preseason games, and let MBIII play well, and Parcells will never again trust JJ as his starting RB.
You can't trust a RB to be your starter if he can't stay healthy. IN my opinion, this will be his final chance as a starter with Bill Parcells.
