A lot of people are talking about Julius holding on the the ball more not allowing himself to play in his style. Anyone think that maybe Carthon really helped Julius during the season on keeping his form and running like he needs to run. Just a thought...

The fact is if Julius Finishes the Philly game he ends with 125 yards and nobody is questioning his running style or anything else.

I think alot of people are making a big deal out of nothing

teams have absolutely game planned to stop this guy...anyone who thought he was going ton run wild for 150 yds a game was fooling themselves

once teams shift their defensive game plans to slow down our passing game more (ie, alot more zone) you'll see more run lanes open up for JJ, and he'll have more production...

the guys started 12 games, he's been under 72 yards once...in 9 of 12 starts he's had at least 81 yds rushing, and 1 of the 3 he didnt hit that mark was vs Philly this past Sunday when he only played half the game...thats an amazing stat when you look at it

Im not questioning him being a great RB. But it does seem like his style has changed a little bit from last year.. I think he will end the season with atleast 4 100 yard games assuming this injury doesnt hinder him to long.

Keep on preach'in bro....this is so true and last game proved just that. If he was not hurt I think 125 easy...instead TT did it in his place.

Once defenses realize we can and will hurt them throwing the ball, they have to change their approach...and when that happens there will be games where we can pound the ball early like some really like, but until then....

He's fine; I was thinking this would be his breakout game but now with his ankle the way it is we may have to wait. Patience, grasshoppers.

Hey you know what, here's the differnce i see in JJ from this year to last year, something everybody misses.

Runs for negative yards.

How many times has JJ gotten hit in the backfield and stumbled foward for 1 yard or no gain.

How many times instead of cutting back and losing yards, on the DE waiting for him, did he just run where he was suppose to getting 2 or 3.

We look to much into YPC, and total yards, and not enough into what excatly he is doing. BP is man about moving the ball FORWARD, and he may only do it 2 yards at a time but he doesnt lose yards like he did last year. (which he did do after his nice 100 yards games)

There's always a postive side of things:D

I think what makes a great RB is when a guy can somehow still finish a game with 80 yards or so even though the defense has keyed on him the whole time. Julius consistently does that. I think he's well on his way to being a fantastic back. He's learning to grind things out. And when you add in the fact that many of his best runs have been called back because of stupid penalties, I think you can safely say that he isn't a concern for this team. He's a player.

With the passing threat we present it's going to be very difficult to play 8 in the box to stop the running game.
