I would've liked to have seen him get his first 100 yard game of the season but at the same time we need Julius and no point in risking him when the game was already in hand.

Yep, as a coach it didn't make sense to put him back in. I didn't realize he was running so well until they said he was 12 for 60 right before the half.

I think Jones still has more carries then any back in the league, even with taking a half off.

Not using him in the second half was a good call.

JJ actually came up limping in an earlier play than the one where he left the game. Hopefully, he is fine.

He limped the rest of the day.

I wonder if there isn't something more to it than we know right now.

When I saw the replay it didn't look good

No it didn't. He was lucky to get up after that.

That is why I wonder about a small tear in his knee or something.

It looked like he said something abou not being able to put too much pressure on it when he was talking to somebody on the sidelines yesterday.

I saw Julius respond to a question and he was saying ,'' im fine , im alright , yeah''. so im sure hes ok .

Its good because Jones only got 16 carries this game and didnt play that much, so he will be rested for the G men.

I was at the game yesterday, he was the last one to come out of the tunnel after half-time. They must have taped both of his ankles because I didn't remember seeing them taped before he went into the lockerroom. When he was walking into the lockerroom he was limping quite a bit.

I saw him in Parcell's ear, after the half, a few times trying to get back in the game...but it was probably better that he didn't.

Hey BS, little off topic, but I hope T Murph is going to be okay, I thought I read he was out for the year.

last year BP didn't want JJ tapping his helmet and this year he's protecting his star running back. It doesn't hurt to have TT as a backup as opposed to a washed up Eddie George. TT looks like a beast out there. One more thing, nobody would've forgiven BP if he sends JJ in garbage time and we loose him to an extended period of time due to injury.

I noticed at the beginning of the game that Julius appeared to be a bit more chipper than he had been in the previous weeks. Looked like he was getting over whatever had been ailing him. If there truly is nothing to worry about, I think having the half off allowed him to get some rest.

Thank you, he'll be okay...talk to him yesterday. Just keep him in your prayers.
