June 1st Cuts

Do you see any possible player cuts that we may want to pickup?

I'd like an experienced CB. But he'd have to really contribute this year and the youngsters would have to prove they couldn't. I don't know enough to point out who. I do think we are capable of going to the SB so they could sacrifice a little of the future for the now. Good question.

I'd be surprised if there's any player out there who can help us at this point. I'd love to see us add a CB but it won't happen. With both Glenn & Henry turning 35 & 31 in 1-2 months respectively, we can only hope that Courtney Brown has the mental & physical attributes to start NLT 08 & that Ball can become a decent career backup. Assume one of our first rounders in 08 will be used on a CB.

June 1st cuts are non-existent any more. You are better off watching the final cut to 53 in September.

i thought they had made it that you could designate cuts prior to June 1 for the next cap year. Or have they not instituted it yet? It makes sense for all parties involved.

they have something like that, but it's if you cut someone before June 1st, most of that cap money is accelerated into that year's cap, instead of the next year's, you do it after June 1st, and most of the money counts against your cap for the next year

that doesnt make sense to implememnt and that is not what i heard proposed.

I didn't say there was any new changes, just bringing up apart of the cap process that I thought you were referring to, but you're talking about something else which I haven't heard about, so we can stop now

like i said i figured that when i asked a question about changes that i wouldnt get a rehash of preexisting knowledge. youre right i assumed that you could bring something new to the table and I was once again shown that it was a futile expectation.

you didnt say that it was staying the same you started talking about how money was to be divided. i tuned you out at that point becuase that didnt sound like the change that i had seen peoposed.
