Nobody hurt and no damage to the house. The tree limb fell from a neighbors house. My landlord and I spent the morning cutting and dragging off limbs. These are very old Pecan trees and they aren't the most stable things.

An old pecan tree fell and trashed my parents house during Hurricane Ike. Glad you didn't have any thing more serious than a damaged fence.

Wow, Cliff. Thats pretty bad. Glad it didn't hit your house, or car. One of our trees fell completely over a few years ago.

I was picking someone up from DFW airport last night, and there was a lot of rain, lightning, and wind. Her flight was delayed over an hour as they circled over the Texas Oklahoma border waiting for the storm to pass.

I love me some fresh Pecans. I have a friend in Dallas that has an ancient pecan tree. One year it put out this massive bumper crop of pecans. I must've had 50 pounds of fresh pecans, made myself sick eating pecans.

I had pecan pie, pecan salad, pecan cookies, graded the pecans on potato salad, with ranch pecan dressing, homemade pecan steak sauce, oatmeal with pecans, pecan pralines. I made pecan-te sauce.

I had pecan-shell garden mulch. Pecan Christmas tree decorations. My friends and family would pecan me and make fun of me for eating and finding so many ways to use the pecans.
