We have been playing vanilla on offense for a few weeks. Not many reverses, quick slants etc. add that to Julius getting a chip on his shoulder for lack of carries and the seahawks hurting should equal a good offensive showing.

Also - Our D showed some rush last week. Also - Don't forget Kitna threw for several 300 yard games this year againt good teams - Ne, Chic etc.

These Cowboys seem to play better when they are underdogs. I have a feeling we are going to get that swagger back. Let's hope TO can be the moster we had hoped for throughout the playoffs.

We ran slants against Detroit and they were all over them.

I have this same feeling, we will play well and beat Seattle sat. nite. Big games for TO, TG, and Romo. I look for a tougher D to show up too. We win and move onto Chicago... It's gonna happen, enjoy it!!!

That's exactly why you hit them with a double move and you wind up WIDE OPEN!

sorry Alexander - was referring to WR screens, RB screens (not just slants)

my point is we have been very vanilla.. I think that it was Terry Glenn was referring to. We haven't been using our full playbook and I think it was somewhat intentional.

while that does concern me i am more worried about our crap D giving up so many damn points to the freakin Lions!!!!!!!! our offense did fine on sunday except for the Romo fumbles but the D will be our downfall...

I find it hard to believe anyone actually believes that losing will somehow buoy a team up.

I agree - but the offense gave the Lions that field position to capitalize on. We need to avoid the turnovers and get that LOOK that the Falcons player talked about on offense, which will allow the D to get confidence. Need ROY to step up and set a tone.

Who said losing will buoy?

I am refering to the c'boys being young and felt like they accomplished something a few weeks and was already looking past these games - add that to Parcells probably not showing everything.

What is the purpose of going vanilla? No offense but this theory makes no sense, you are trying to convince yourself that this team is better then it is. The reason Dallas is struggling is because they are getting outplayed and out coached.

Maybe I am trying to look at the glass half full, but the season is a marathon.

They are not as good as people were saying 5 weeks ago and they are not as bad as they look right now. They are young and need a spark. They are not a veteran team that can overcome turnovers. And the NFC is anyones game.

Indeed. But it might be worth noting that until the Eagles loss, after every loss before that we did win by double digits the following week..coincidence or otherwise.

The question is, why didnt it work that way this time.. just cause the D has gotten so bad? Perhaps.

But I'm not so sure there wasnt some mailing it in going on too because not only was there a fair percentage of fans who thought the division was lost (that Philly would win if need be) but you even heard BP saying before the game they were already looking at Seattle because of the "probability" thats who we'd play. Not hard to phathom many players didnt just feel that way too.

The differential between teams in this league isnt always so great that if 1 team is even a lil disinterested while the other one treats it as their SB, bad things cant happen to the better team.

The bottom line is, they have no DB's and we have two of the most dangerous WR's in Football. If we cannot win this game in a shootout if nothing else, we are....what we are. :bang2:

very true. as pathetic as the giants have been, they could make the superbowl just as likely as us or chicago.

Add to that it was a 2-13 team.....that we had to chase for 4 quarters.
