I just wish nicknames for defenses would come back in general. I miss that. Doomsday, Orange Crush, NY Sack Exchange, etc.

In the world of acronyms and short verbage sentences you would think there would be more nicknames in the league right now for defenses.

Hard to do when you have player movement that we see now days. In the time before FA guys were like family they played their entire careers with each other now we don't see that very often were a group will remain as a team

Lol. I like that one. Band of Backups was another I'd heard. Hatcher's Heroes, too, though I don't like that one very much: don't want to build the defensive identity around an impending FA.
