Players on the juice usually get 4 games so being a coach was only worth 1 additional game.
I'm not sure what players have recieved for punching someone. I think the Panthers suspended Steve Smith for 2 a fight but I don't think the league had anything to do with that.
The league has always been more harsh on juicers than other drug offenders.
I actually doubt that Cable is suspended for more than a game, if that.

It was a case of the commissioner not exercising common sense under obvious circumstances. And I'm not someone who dislikes Goodell in the least.
Actually clubbing an subordinate in a team meeting is a much more significant offense, and it's one that has much more significant blowback on the league. That said, Cable deserves to have his side of the story heard before any decision is made.
The Commissioner may decide to punish the Raiders organization by not suspending Cable...davidyee;2977516 said:If he is charged for assaulting his assistance coach would he be suspended by the commish?
I remember a certain QB coach for the Cowboys and his suspension. What would this draw?
IIRC, the Panthers suspended him for 2 games but the league didn't get involved. They let it remain an internal matter. I don't think the League did anything when Michael Westrook beat the crap out of one of his teammates (forget who) in Washington. Granted, that was a different commish back then... but they ma not want to do anything here either.Hoofbite;2982494 said:I'm not sure what players have recieved for punching someone.
