Since Welker is gone, they will roll out the same packages with Edelman. I doubt they would try with Stanback, who frankly is not capable of doing those kinds of things out of the slot.

...this happening at all.

Belichick and his coordinator put in the guy they trusted right away when Welker went down.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but the back of the jersey on the guy making the slot catches didn't say Stanback.

Edelman will be the starter in the playoffs for the Patriots. Stanback is too slow off the mark to fill in those packages that Welker was responsible for.

Maybe....just "maybe"...Stanback may work out for the Pats, and even though we haven't seen much from Ogletree so far, I would still prefer to have him over Stranback.

I wish Stanback the best of luck. Dallas got to a point where we had to move on but I never had any hard feelings towards Stanback and as far as injuries go players do not have much say in when and how they may get injured.
