Some of the Dak haters dislike him because of what happened to Romo and blame Dak. It's not Daks fault Romo body broke down. Romo has never had an 11 game win streak but now all of a sudden he would have? Guys need to let it go and get over the Romo and Dak deal

Yep, Irving was being put in a choke hold when Rodgers scrabbled left and threw it up. No call all game long

You don't bench your QB of the future like that.

Who knows what kind of lasting impact that would have had.

I thought Dak had 1 crucial pick where a pack defender jumped a quick toss at the line but I could be getting games mixed up

I am in agreement though Dak played well

I'm willing to bet more than 50% of the people that dislike Prescott is because of the Romo situation. You can't blame Prescott for playing as well as he did as a rookie. Blame the franchise if you're going to blame anybody. Personally I think it happened just the way it should have

I couldn't recall either but you're correct it was a quick pass out to the left. Int. I'm not sure anything came of it but it did happen

    Great question.

I know why they rode the hot hand, but I really wanted Tony back in. I also thought it was telling that JG only let him play a series in the Eagles game. I think his experience gave us a chance to go all the way.

I love all the comments that he wouldn't have made it through a game like it was a fact. The offensive line and Zeke would have kept a lot of pressure off of him. Plus no one knows for a fact that he couldn't take a hit. That's just an easy excuse when you don't agree with putting him back in.

But we will never know and it's moot now. Just don't understand the anger when people just want an opinion on the subject.

It was so damn obvious too, with the ref looking right at him. Smh

I have wondered that same thing. This was Romos year. He would have passed the ball better than Dak but Dak used his feet way better.

Dak wasn't the reason the Cowboys couldn't get past the Packers, it was the defense.

Although I will say I think the PI call (when Heath got a pick) was bogus. It was an uncatchable ball IMO.
Refs had a really bad game.

Dak has too much self discipline and inner strength. He controls his mind and lasting effects are not in his character.

Mostly I put this thread here to test the waters. As you see, nothing but negative responses. Which is the Cowboy fan of today. No shot at you, Big Dog.

But this is not your father's Cowboys. The acrimony that flies here now as the bill of fare is both shocking and disappointing.

Don't remember Dak throwing any picks that game but Rodgers did, in fact would have been 2 picks by Rodgers if not for a penalty.

Inaccuracies? You mean some of the deep throws he missed to Gallup or what not...... That's a false narrative, has he missed throws, absolutely but name 1 QB ever that threw 100 percent.

Last season Dak was 45 percent on deep passes which was ahead of Rodgers and Wentz, tied with Brady and 1 percent lower than Mahomes...... Those guys are said to be accurate though. See the stupid dumb narrative now.

The decision to let Dak continue to play was made in either week 10 or 11, I forget. But somewhere around there. But that really doesn't change the what if. I do think Dallas would have beaten the butt ugly Packers, just not the Falcons. Not even with Romo. That team's offense during the playoffs was off the charts, and the Cowboys still had that terrible defense.

I bet most will not understand this. Good call.

The moment when the guy in a skirt stands up and says, "They can take my life, but they'll never take my freedom."

If they were going to put Romo in for Dak it would have probably be the game after Thanksgiving against the Giants. It would have been interesting to see what would have happened. The thing about hindsight though is Tony could have come back and been a disaster. The Giants might have broken his back. Half the locker room would have backed Dak. I don't think Tony would have beaten Rodgers. I blame that game on our defensive coordinator. We scored 30 at home. We should have won. The media would have been all over it.
