This is the NFL dude and it's all about the "W" however you can get it. Style points in this league means absolutely nothing. I bet the Steelers wish they had a 7-6 win over KC last week instead of the big fat L they got. Just gimmie the "W" any sunday...

I agree. I feel this way before every game. We all do. We wan to see this team make forward progress, make a statement.

But here's what I find amusing and you know I'm right.

i agree with the replies here, it's exactly what every player on the team has been talking about all year. winning is winning, no matter if it is "ugly" or sexy. Sexy high scoring wins against teams that aren't elite only help public perception, media perception and false egos, all of which we don't need.

while i agree i'd like to see us lay some smackdown on oakland, this *is* the NFL and you never really know now do you? so all this junkyard crap of "a win is not good enough!" really just shows how spoiled some fans are and their overall leadership in the IGS (instant gratification society).

I agree, mostly. I'll take any win, but if we win ugly, and this offense still doesn't show any signs of life, then I won't be happy.

I don't care so much about the score. Just as long as there are signs of us moving in the right direction and we have more points than they do at the end.
