So, what happens if fans start throwing batteries, pill bottles, etc. on the field Sunday? Are they given a warning that their team will be penalized if it continues or will it be “that’s just passionate Eagles fans for ya” and ignored? What are the rules concerning this kind of behavior?

According to an ESPN Report I watched earlier, the security will be doubled for this game. There will be plain clothes security both in the stands and on the field. There will be an extra judge or two down in the basement. If a fan is caught acting inappropriatatly, they will be prosecuted, they will also lose there season tickets (should they have any) and not be permitted to attend games for the rest of the season.

Basically, probably nothing.

I think most of the nonsense will go on in the cheap seats upstairs.

A buddy of mine is an Eagles season-ticket holder and tells me that most people in the lower sections behave themselves. Otherwise they could lose their seats and seat licenses.

The knuckleheads upstairs won't be close enough to do more than get into fights.

Isn't sitting in the upper seats perfect for them. I would hate it if I was sitting below these idiots. It's easier spitting down. :D

stasheroo is right. no one who has expensive ticket package wants to lose their seats, especially this early in the season.

Its the guys who could only afford one game and picked this game in advance last year to go there with a purpose to cause trouble that do stupid things.

But, i have talked with people who have been ejected from the games in the 1st quarter in the past few years because a friend was mouthing off and some pushing and shoving started, and the whole group was ejected, even the mature guys who were sitting there trying to calm their friend down and break it up.

Tickets are more expensive here at the link than they were at the vet, can you imagine paying hundreds of dollars and getting ejected after 5 minutes cause your rowdy friend pushed someone. The security people do not ignore this stuff, people do get ejected, fined etc.

Now out in the parking lot you are on your own completely.
