Do not let the Eagles blowout this game against the Cowboys.
Just... just let it be close. Please. Pretty please.

(can I get an amen from the congregation?)

I hope it comes down to a field goal, cause I think our crappy kicker is better than theirs.

Impossible. Cortez is the worst in the league. Why we still have him? I'll never know.

If we have to lose then I'd almost rather it be a blowout. At least then, we might ring some changes and we won't have to hear the 'what if?' game being played here. Parcells needs to have the team ready. Of course I hate being blown out but it feels like this team has been getting by with smoke and mirrors the last few years. Too many 'encouraging' wins like our season opener have been spoiled by the sobering reality of losses to bad teams like the Commanders.

Man, dont you get tired of bashing the boys. Isn't there a falcons or packers board you can go hang out on. Your posts are so assinine its not worthy a response. All hail Cortez. May he be a cowboy for 16 years.

I know it's been a while since we've beat the Eagles but the moral victory of a close loss does nothing for me. Either we win the game or we lose it. I totally understand the thought process behind staying close with them but there is no such thing as a good loss IMO.

would love to see us win, but just cant see us doing it with the way we're playing and our lack of quality coaching...I see the Eagles hanging 34-42 pts on us...since the Eagles dont care to really run the ball, I can see McNabb probably throwing for 400+ on our sorry pass defense

I hope I'm wrong

Based on what? what took place in San Fran? Thus far he has saved Dallas ars on kick returns by making 3 big tackles that would have gone for TD that is 21 points he has prevented and the only kick he has missed in reg season was due in large part because of a poor snap which is why Condo was released.

I don't know that our pass defense is as bad as all that. We have been killed by the big play a few times granted but other than that we have had pretty solid pass Defense. The San Fran game was an aberration because Henry had an off day. I don't look for that to happen again with the coaches having learned something about having the players ready to play.

Randy Moss didn't kill us the way everyone expected him to; he had the one long reception that gained them only 3 points and beyond that he was pretty much below average. If our coaches can refrain from putting us in situations where Ware is covering a premier WR I think we will be fine. We passed the Randy Moss test; now if we can stop TO we are in good shape IMO.

I don't know. I'm feeling like the Boys can win this one. I guess I'm in the minority. Remember they almost went to Philly last year and beat them. This year McNabb can't run around for first downs. :) I really think the Boys keep it close, like they always do under Parcells, and win this one. It's a HUGE game for the Cowboys, HUGE... I don't think they'll disappoint, the fans were already treated to one loss in Irving, they won't lose 2 in a row at home to a division rival. It's just my gut feeling.
