Bill Polian and Charley Casserly called Elliott the best player in the draft, bar none. (They said it would have been Jaylon Smith if not for the injury.)

Does that "move" you at all?

No.

Because I never doubted that Elliott was a quality prospect.

All good runners. But none of them are the complete package, which is far more important.

Emmitt probably wasn't a top five running back during his day, but he was the most complete by far. Sanders, Thomas, Foster, Warren, Hampton, Watters, Anderson, Okoye, Butz, Leven, Anderson, Davis.....there were lots of great runners during his day, but few could do all the many things he did.

Complete is not the best. Complete is being able to do everything but that doesn't mean you do anything to a point where you make a huge difference. Now, having said that, I do think he will good but I don't know if he's a 10 year, 10 Thousand Yard back.

Relatively reduced rate?

What? Elliott becomes the 8-9th highest paid TB the moment he's drafted at 4.

And want of the best in the league behind that ol...so, totally worth it!

Just say NO to RB with the #4 pick. May as well draft a K.

Look at what fans of other teams are saying about Zeke to the Cowboys.

They're absolutely petrified of facing that automatic juggernaught.

Imagine how pumped the Oline would get when Zeke's ripping off huge gainers, then they all start playing with super adreniline, and it pretty much looks like this every week..

Then again, pounding the rock isn't Dallas Cowboys football. Better draft Mo 2.0

Seriously, we all know there's no chance in hell to win a SB without Romo, period.

That's not debatable..

Why not replicate 2014, with all the associated benefits (besides Murray Fumbling in GB while running through a lane wide enough for a semi), rather than taking it to the house like Zeke would...

Zeke is an automatic upgrade in every facet of the rub game and for the entire team.

First, he'd protect Romo better than anyone else, which as was stated, without Romo there will be no SB.

Second, Zeke plus our current line is about 50 times better than what we had in 2014.

3rd, Bosa, Ramsey, and Tunsil might be great, but in no way could they push us over the top like Zeke very well might....

---

Take Zeke, then trade up for Shaq or Spence, then grab an actual CB in the third...

How awesome would it be to see Zeke leading the league in rushing, while we watch a ridiculous running attack that might never be replicated again...

It's Emmitt 2.0.

How'd we do without Emmitt?

Yes, yes, and.........YES!!

Zeke Elliott would look great behind this OL, and I too is a fan but you never know with the Cowboys, they could very well draft Bosa, or Ramsey with that pick which I'm no fan of either or they could even trade down for more picks and if this happen it would disappoint me in the end they could care less what fans think. If that pick is Zeke I will be on cloud nine for sure we shall see.

Ezekiel Elliot turns this into thunderdome for few years left with Romo. He also transitions the next QB who can lean on running game as he gets his feet under him.

Let's us not forget that although two of are DE are suspended they're only be gone for four-games and with a good running game we get control the field and time of position and lessen the defense showing on the field.

Exactly. The draft is about risk and reward and many feel RBs are not worth the risk that high in the draft.

I would be happy with EE, Trading down, Tunsil..... even Bosa, who I dont like at 4. But just because I don't like it, doesnt mean he wont be a monster. I mean, we have the 4th spot.

But within the context of Romo playing for 2 more years. I think going offense, picking up EE, is the best thing we could do. Yeah, it will probably be too high for a RB. But, again, we should be pushing for a SB within Romos 2 year window.

Lets get that offense running and controlling games..... Were not rebuilding that D anytime soon. The resources they spent on rebuilding it last year, aren't exactly working out....

Its the offense that needs to dictate the game.
