There has been lots of talk on this site about Dak and how much the Cowboys should pay him. We know he is going to be paid soon enough, Jerry believes in him so he will be the QB of the future.

BUT....again, Just for fun!

The Jags signed Foles to a 4 year $88 million dollar deal. Then the injury, Enter Minshew. The kid has been playing very well and COULD very well keep the starting job in Jacksonville sooooo...

Say for a moment we cant reach a deal with Dak by the end of the season and the Jags put Foles on the trade block. (ALL HYPOTHETICAL)

Would you want the FO to try and land Foles and if so, what would you be willing to give up for him?

Dak is better than Foles. I'd only take him for a very cheap price as a backup. Foles has always gotten injured when given a lot of starts.

Too early to think about that , Foles may or may not retire, or he may go back to being starter.
Minshew has played well though.

The cycle will start again. He will be back on the Eagles in a year or so backing up Wentz until Wentz gets hurt... yet again.

Nah. He rose to the occasion for his Super Bowl, but I don't think he's anyone's long-term answer. Otherwise, the Eagles would have kept him and sent Wentz packing.

What? Why wouldn't we resign Dak?

Foles will be 31 in Jan and has never been able to string together years of quality starts. The obsession w/ him is beyond silly.
