Look at our schedule.

We got a bye week this week, so that will let Bledsoe and Owens heal up. Hopefully Owens can play against the Titans, but I don't think we need to rush him into that.

Philly will be a game, but I honestly dont think they're that good.

Their defense isn't nearly as good as it used to be, and now Kearse is out for the season. And their receivers have nothing on our corners. And I don't see them being able to establish any sort of running game against us. Stallworth is no Santana Moss...

Then we have houston...

We have a pretty easy schedule. Especially with teams like Carolina and Tampa Bay playing the way they are.

Problem is, anything can change. We get an injury, Steve Smith comes back, Simms and Clayton reconnect, etc. Never know.

But on paper. . . yeah. But Giants, Arizona, and Indy could cause problems. Not to mention we can drop 9 balls again against Philly. . .

I just see this team getting much better every week, and we got some pretty easy opponents up and coming. Hopefully that lets them build confidence as they gel.

All of us hope you are right, but most of us have learned not to count our chickens before they hatch.

Keep in mind, also, that Philly had 8 sacks against Eli Manning and the Giants, and the ONLY reason the Giants were in that game was because Philly shot themselves in the foot with late turnovers and penalties. I wouldn't count on that happening every week. The difference between Bledslow, and Manning is that under pressure, Manning is learning to take the sack or throw the ball away. Bledsoe tries to make something out of nothing and creates turnovers. You can bank on one thing, if the Eagles have 8 sacks against our beloved Cowboys, Bledsoe will turn the ball over ATLEAST 3 times. That spells another loss for us, if you ask me. I feel good about the Skins game (just a beginning to a new streak of dominance IMO), but right now, the Skins aren't even in Philly's league. The Skins Offense has put up 19 points in two games for a 9.5 point average per game. The Eagles can drop that on us in quarter. I'm not looking past Philly for one minute.

Very true, not to mention McNabb is healthy again. Yes he IS a good quartback wether he plays for a division rival or not. Don't forget they have a good TE and a good back coming out of the backfield. They won't be a pushover.

3.5 out of the Eagles 13 sacks came from Jevon Kearse...

You don't only subtract the 3.5 from the 13 either. You don't have Kearse, and you have less pressure coming from one spot of the field, allowing you to be more balanced in your blocking against the rest of the team. Or simply allow you to shut down another pass rush threat.

I wont call anything easy until we take care of business for 60 minutes and stop making so many mistakes(penalties)

Philly game is gonna be as competitive as Jax. Book it!
We better come to play and not make mistakes.
We can win if we execute because I do think we have better talent than Philthy.

I wouldn't get too confident yet. We definitely improved last week. However, I really don't see us beating Indy (much as I would like to), & there's that nasty 3-week away game schedule. And you just can't tell which Gints, Iggles, & Stinks you'll get in their stadiums (I think we can beat them in Dallas but definitely can't afford sloppy play).

Well we got better from week 1 to week 2, but let's wait for two good games in a row before we say we're "getting better each week."

Also way to early to write off Carolina and TB. Plus that Atlanta game is looking tougher each week.

There are no easy games anymore.

Tennessee can give us trouble....

Exhibit A: Kerry Collins-- Don't laugh. This guy just seems to know how to beat us. We never beat him as a Panther, he beat us as a Saint (when they were crappy), I think we only beat him once as a Giant, he beat us last year as a Raider.

Now, Young may play, but the Kerry Collins jinx is scary to me.

Exhibit B: Travis Henry, Chris Brown, and LenDale White-- A very good trio of backs. All are big and tough. Our 3-4 seems to have trouble against power running teams. Brown embarrassed Roy a couple of years ago.

Exhibit C: Drew Bennett, Tyrone Calico, David Givens-- Very tall, very large WRs. We saw what Jacksonville's WRs did to Newman and Henry.

I'm not saying we'll get beat. It's just that they have the ingredients to really give us trouble. Not only that, we'll be going into the game possibly without TO, and Glenn was hurt at the end of the Skins game.

And who knows which Bledsoe will show up?

It won't be easy.

The Eagles are still a very, very good team. They'll bring the best game (and then some). Their fans will be whipped into a bloody frenzy. Jim Johnson will be matched up against our shaky OL.

I'll be happy if we're 2-2 after the first four games.....Now, I think we could go 3-1...but we'll have to play better than we did Sunday Night.

I see us beating Indianapolis because we are at home.

As for the rest of you, stop being scared little girls, be men and claim we can take anyone in the NFL. If we lose, who cares, no one will hold it against you.

We did not beat him as a Giant. He benched himself for that game if my (rather poor) memory serves me correctly. When he did play, he beat us as a Giant. Many thanks for bring this up as it has been on my mind the last 2 days...

I can hardly believe that. Do you remember the opponents for these games?...

1999 Week 17 Dallas 26 New York 18 (Cowboys win to clinch playoff berth)
2001 Week 13 Dallas 20 New York 13 (Quincy pass to Jackie Harris clinches it)
2003 Week 2 Dallas 35 New York 32 MNF (Cundiff kicks 7 field goals, Parcells first win as Cowboy.)

The Giants starting Quarterback? Kerry Collins.

The game he benched himself was when he was at Carolina. We beat the Steve Beurlein led Panthers 28-20.
