And I watched the whole thing tonight, like 6 hours worth. It's awesome, and brought back a lot of memories.....

One thing I noticed watching highlights of all those seasons back to back, is that every year it seems like there's at least one 30-something year old QB coming back and leading a team into contention, after being pronounced dead to NFL. Jim Harbaugh led the league in passing late in his career, Plunkett, Montana and on and on. What Bledsoe is doing this year is not uncommon.

I loved it when Jimmy said the worst thing is being afraid to take chances when the opportunity presents itself. In some ways he's the anti-Parcells.

That was one hell of a pass by Robert Newhouse in SB 12. I didn't remember it being that good. He dropped that thing into tight coverage, hit Richards in full stride and it was at least 45-50 yards in the air. We've had QB's that couldn't have made that throw...no way Quincy could've.

And of course my favorite line of all time by Dale Hansen... "And the Cowboys come to the line for the biggest drive in about 11 years." Then about two seconds later from Brad Sham "slant pass to Harper and he's breaking away..."

Just a great DVD, well worth the 20 bucks. Too much stuff to mention besides the highlights we've all seen a million times.

I think Bill Parcells takes chances when he perceives opportunity is presenting itself. That is all perception and I'm sure Jimmy realizes that, I know he holds a great deal of respect for Bill Parcells. I wouldn't go so far as to call him the anti-Parcells.

In some ways I think he is, but they also have a lot of traits they share in common.

The tighter the game, the tighter Bill gets, and that's the opposite of Jimmy.

I received mine on Friday and watched part this morning. I was a little disappointed as the case said you get five hours of the Super Bowls but the part I watched had about 15 minutes from the 1993 SB and the rest regarding the 1993 season (for all teams).

Still not disappointed I bought it. The interview with Michael Irvin on Disc 2 is great, especially the part about his dad cutting his shoes to ensure they still fit.

Hasn't Parcells always been like this? I remember when he was with the Giants he was content with sitting on the ball and winning 13-7.
