Gonna be tuff on me to say this because I tend to be a HOMER fan, but I gotta be honest. Did the whole stadium tour on Saturday, then went to the game Monday night. DO NOT like what the new stadium represents at all. All flash, no substance. This thing is excess, piled upon excess, piled upon excess. Is it COOL and all that? Yep...you bet it is. From a WOW factor point of view its quite probably the neatest thing ive ever seen,.

Thing is I care WAYYYYYYYYYYY more about winning then I do about looking "cool". Im tellin ya, this is a place that can make a team SOFT in a hurry, we dont want that, we want a real snakepit. The essence of winning football is "Under a pale grey sky" or "the frozen tundra", But THIS??? This is the GLITTERDOME at its worst. Think what you will, just my opinion after seeing it 1st hand.

Game thoughts........
tried to keep an eye on Roy Williams, to me anyway he looks like he has a VERY tuff time getting off the line, that and it seems like he REALLY runs LAZY routes when the play isnt directed to him. Gotta get that tightened up.

Offensive line looked AWESOME in the running game, some of those holes they opened up I coulda ran for 20 on, and that takes some doing...

LOL Other than that, pretty blah game really, OH wait....

Victor Butler showed BIGTIME JETS coming around the corner on those sacks. Just BOOM, and he was around the tackle. Anyway, been a long day of travel, tired, those are my thoughts on the 1st win at the new stadium. Glad I was a part of it...

Ever been to north texas before?

Nobody would go to an event at a "real Snakepit"

Did you see the common theme of the fans?

I get what you're saying, but what do you expect -- Jerry to replicate the prison yard from The Longest Yard?

No new stadium is going to represent the golden days of pro football.

Good point, I loved the days of snow and mud partially covering up numbers but kids today are coming out of college programs that have waterfalls in their lockeroom (Oregon I think).

It's a different time and place. Besides, a coach can do more to make a team soft than any building can.

Embrace the excess and say hello to a cage dancer for me. :starspin

We've seen the league's outrage over the low-hanging video board. Imagine their disdain if Jerry built a mud-filled snake pit.
