Just speculating... Is Garrett on Boy Snyder's radar for coach next year?

Say Zorn gets fired at the end of this year (likely probability). What are the chances of Snyderbrenner going after Garrett?

Personally, I'm not a fan of Garrett and would like to see him go(not particularly to Washington, though). Little Snyderbrenner did it before with Norv Turner. That sure would elevate the rivalry even more.

Also, Keep an eye on that University of Miami OC. I think he is doing a good job. I think he was with the Steelers for a while. Is his name Wipple or something? I wouldn't mind having him here as OC (if Garrett leaves).

I think Garrett is smart enough to realize Washington and Snyder are the NFC equivalent of Oakland and Al Davis.

No way that happens.

Snyder went the nice, quiet, young offensive coordinator route last time.

This time, he'll open the vault for Shanahan or Gruden ... someone like that, IMO.

Odds are if Garrett has this offense ranked in the top 10 he's the head coach in Dallas next year.Like it or not it would be the most likely scenario.

Yeah, but coaching money is guaranteed. A five year $6 mil/year guaranteed contract is hard to pass up.

And dont forget, a head coach and OC are way different. I think Garrett will be a better HC than coordinator.

We can have Ray Sherman help out with playcalling if need be.

He's made like 10 million as a Dallas OC, lives in Dallas, and the money goes further in Dallas; he'll suck it up (so to speak) and stay in Dallas as an OC for another year as opposed to go to Washington, he saw what happened to Norv Turner there.

I agree, what intrigues me the most though about Garrett is his closeness to the Jones family.Garrett may be granted more leeway than an outsider, plus I think he can relate to the players of today better. It seems that both Wade and Parcells had/have a hard time relating to this team.

Not sure they would hand over the OC job to a college coach here. That would set them back a few years. Even if he runs a similar system. He will need time to adjust to the NFL.

Yeah, because ironically he'll probably bring Gary Kubiak over with him as an offensive coordinator.

Take Garrett. Keep Cerrato. That would complete the perfect combination in DC.
Please do it.

Do you know Fisher is the highest paid NFL HC at 5.5 million per(Lovie Smith also gets 5.5) followed by Coughlin at 5.25 and Belichick at 5 million, but Red Jesus will get 6 million? Ya right:laugh2:

Dude hasn't earned the 3 million he get now.
