The screens generate so much heat that moisture evaporates before it can hit the screen.

I kid you not.

Ok, maybe I kid.

As much as the screen getting cold and wet could be a problem, imagine if it happens to the cheerleaders displayed at that size.

Dome will not be open when raining. And it will be open only when temps are between 50 and 85, so no chance of snow.

It snows in Texas?

I think it was about 4 or 5 years ago...it snowed here in Victoria, TX (between Houston and Corpus) on Christmas Eve. I mean like at least 6 inches!!! I remember watching the weather channel on Christmas day and in northern cities like Chicago it was sunny and warm for that time of year(they basically got the kind of weather we get down here on Christmas)...but to answer your question....yes it does snow in Texas....the southern part tends to get some once every 10 years....

It was snow. Just ask Leon Lett.

It was sleet, not snow.

SLEET: A type of frozen precipitation, consisting of small transparent pellets.

It was actually in the AM on Christmas morning. I live in Corpus and it snowed here too. In fact if you look at the satelite it snowed in Mexico just a tad bit too!!!

This is the image from that day. Look at the Rio Grande, Mexico is below it!! Hahaha nuts!
