This is the time where we disregard every negative thing said about the Cowboys draft from multiple sources and then cherry pick the positive comments from a couple of sources?

Just want to make sure I know what the sheep are line for before I decide to fall in or not.

Ill disregard most of them, because most of them will not mention Roy Williams. I think we did a good job of churning the bottom of the roster today, and replacing the free agents we lost.

Truthfully, this is no different than any other time.

You might be interested in what a Kiper or McShay or Mayock or Goose says, much like you might trust a Michael Smith, Mort.

You're probably not as interested by Colin Cowherd's in-the-know opinion. To me, the Prisco, Sporting News, etc., analyses fall in that category. They're clearly just putting out grades because they're told to, not because they actually have any clue what they're doing.

Goose, for instance, at least offers some substance behind his stuff. His grade and analysis -- which will be crushing because of our lack of high picks -- will offer some insight into how our picks were valued elsewhere. Prisco might come up with the same grade, but it'll be because he simply hasn't heard of our guys and doesn't understand our needs or how we plan to use the guys we drafted.

You are correct sir.

This is also the time to throw hissy fits because the team didn't select the pet player you researched a whole week on NFLDraftScout and Youtube.

Just wanted to make sure you knew the obnoxious line just in case....

If they factored in Roy's 198 yards over 10 games, we'd certainly get an F. I can't imagine that there won't be quite a few rookie WRs more productive than that.

Ill give him the benefit of the doubt of one full training camp with the Cowboys before handing out that grade.

Don't you know nuthin'? If you aren't a shorn sheep, you are obviously a "realist" who knows better than the rest of us and is intent on telling everyone how dumb we are for not falling to our knees to worship their opinion.

You know the type.....

Who cares what people think about it? It's 2-3 yrs alot of times before anybody knows jack about drafts. On paper teams that had the most early picks ALWAYS look like they did a great job, but what happens when some (or all) of those early picks flame out?

This team needed an influx of youth and athletic ability at LB and DB, and we got that. We needed to vastly upgrade the special teams and we did that. Almost everyone said they needed a talented #3 guy to develop and they got that.
