Just two weeks ago Philly was on the verge of locking up the NFC East

The people he’s talking about aren’t actually Eagles fans.

I am an “Eagirl” fan depending on how frustrated someone gets when we disagree and how quickly they decide to give up and drop what they think is the ultimate slur on me.
Anybody who disagrees with or doesn't drink the Kool-Aid gets accused by a certain few on here....are there any actual Filthy fans on here? I really don't know, nor really care. I believe I know of one person who is, but they are very objective and tolerable

I know of one self-admitted Eagles fan on here, but Dallas is his second favorite team. He contributes, doesn't pick fights, and is a nice guy on here. Not going to name him though. He knows who he is.

It would be sooo nice if the Eagles dropped two and the Cowboys won out. Even if we didn't make the SB, spoiling it for the Eagles would be great.
Agreed, brother.

If our Cowboys show up to Detroit, play hard/determined all 4 quarters and pull off a win as they should, that's going to put extra pressure on the Eagles. I hope Herbert is able to play (broken bone in non-throwing hand: having surgery on it to see if he can play vs Eagles or not). Was looking forward to seeing the Chargers upset the Eagles. I swear those dirty birds get lucky every year. We need them to lose 2 out of their remaining 5 games:

*Chargers (Dec. 8 - away)
*Raiders (Dec. 14 - home)
*Commanders (Dec. 20 - away)
*Bills (Dec. 28 - away)
*Commanders (Jan. 4 - home)

If Herbert can't play next weekend, that definitely helps them dirty birds!
:banghead:

they still are. the only need to beat the raiders and commanders twice. only once if we lose a single game. any team would love to be in their position.

That is not true........Dallas is currently 1.5 games behind Philly in the division with 5 to play.

If Dallas runs the table (big if, I know) by if they somehow do then Philly has to win 4 of their 5 remaining games.

Put it this way, if Philly goes 3-2 and Dallas goes 5-0, this is the final standings.
Dallas - 11-5-1
Philly - 11-6

Dallas would win the East by 1/2 game.................bottom line, if Dallas wins out Eagles must win 4 out of their last 5 or they lose the division.

Probably the same guy I am talking about, and I agree

They won the SB without Kelce, Tyler Steen has actually been fine. A couple of the guys are banged up which hasn’t helped but scheme is the # 1 factor in the offense being bad.

Jalen is a limited passer but the offense has been bad all year. Not creative in the least. Two competent OC’s have managed to work around Hurts limitations and they’ve reached a SB. The current scheme is line up and count on talent winning out. Doesn’t work in the NFL, you end scheme to help and their scheme is bad.
We know the offense well. We had our guy for 10 years and he had red hair. Luckily your owner and GM won’t allow that to last for long.

Good stuff. I don't know the details, so it's good hearing from a Philly fan who does.

Also, people do not understand that the biggest reason Philly won the super bowl was the #1 D in the NFL. They then proceeded to let several D players walk, including stalwarts Milton Williams, Slay, and Sweat. As well as some quality backups in Isiaiah Rogers, Avonte Maddox, Brandon Graham(retired), Oren Burks. That's a ton of contributors to use.

And while so many were singing the praises of Hurts, he passed for all of 2,903 yds, good for the 29th best passing O. That is simply unsustainable.

So, what happened? Well, I surmise that Hurts' injuries are limiting his running. Leg and Shoulder. He got beat up good this year running that RPO, and cracks are starting to appear in the armor.

In the RPO, what is conveniently forgotten is that when the QB pitches to the RB at the last second, he gets creamed. Which is why most QBs are strictly limited in running the RPO.

Barkley looks worn down or tired. Ive caught a few of the times that Tank Bigsby has came in and hes ripping off 10 yard carries. Barkely comes back to rush for 2 yards. Its honestly hard to be a coordinator when the guys are getting open but the QB is gun shy. Those 50/50 balls to AJ aren't 50/50. He needs to trust him.
Hurts doesn't see the field well enough to take advantage.

Nothing to do with AJ Brown. Players have backed everything he’s said. Shouldn’t have been said in public but I’d guess he’s been saying it behind closed doors for a while.
Lane Johnson said the offense was too predictable months ago, no one lost their minds at that.

This is on the OC and to a lesser extent Jalen Hurts.
Well, yes and no. IMO(yes, just an opinion), the biggest factor is Hurts' knee injury. That's what's making the O predictable.

Cowboys win out, Philly drop 2, Dallas wins the East.

The odds of both of those happening are pretty slim. But if they keep winning, one of the other wildcard contenders could slip. The team just needs to keep doing their part and hope the other chips fall into place. It makes those early season games that were within reach seem that much more important right now.

How the heck does that happen?

That like rooting for the yankees AND the Red Sox lol

(But if you are reading, just kidding, more power to you... That combo is just notably unusual hehe) :)
