Just two weeks ago Philly was on the verge of locking up the NFC East

How the heck does that happen?

That like rooting for the yankees AND the Red Sox lol

(But if you are reading, just kidding, more power to you... That combo is just notably unusual hehe) :)
The only type of fan base I see that do that and I still don't get it are women they do it for some weird reason I don't care where you were born or where you used to live if you became a cowboy fan once you got to Texas or used to live in Texas and moved either way if you're a Cowboys fan there should be never any leeway about you being fans with any of our direct rivals NFC East The Packers The 49ers and the Steelers those are your base rivals That you just can't be fans of both them or the Cowboys at the same time..

Now it's OK if you happen to be a Cowboys fan but not a fan of another Dallas team you know you could support another hockey team or baseball team as we approach the bottom of the OR the NBA whatever it is I've noticed there are people like that happen to be Cowboys fans that live in LA and support the other LA teams but not the football team....

But I agree that is not following the rules of sports you cannot be fans of two rival teams, that's just nuts...

I know we have some Philly fans here…I mean haven’t seen you in a week but just in case if you are lurking let me remind you…..

I want to thank Arthur Juan Brown for his contributions to this collapse by Philly.

This was all before Big Q got here to take us on a 3-0 run

Chargers, bills and in division commanders X2 are all possibles who could eek out a win.
Philly would have to be playing pretty bad against chargers and commanders though.
Have to wonder if the Chargers with a 7-2 conference record hold Herbert out next Monday to make sure he’s as healthy as possible with the Chiefs, Texans, and Broncos still to play. Conference record tie break may well be the difference between the playoffs or not in the AFC this season.

Good stuff. I don't know the details, so it's good hearing from a Philly fan who does.

Also, people do not understand that the biggest reason Philly won the super bowl was the #1 D in the NFL. They then proceeded to let several D players walk, including stalwarts Milton Williams, Slay, and Sweat. As well as some quality backups in Isiaiah Rogers, Avonte Maddox, Brandon Graham(retired), Oren Burks. That's a ton of contributors to use.

And while so many were singing the praises of Hurts, he passed for all of 2,903 yds, good for the 29th best passing O. That is simply unsustainable.

So, what happened? Well, I surmise that Hurts' injuries are limiting his running. Leg and Shoulder. He got beat up good this year running that RPO, and cracks are starting to appear in the armor.

In the RPO, what is conveniently forgotten is that when the QB pitches to the RB at the last second, he gets creamed. Which is why most QBs are strictly limited in running the RPO.
They also had likely the best offensive line in football last season. This year, their O-line is not nearly as dominant and is weaker at every slot, even where it is the same guy from last year, due mostly to injuries and likely fatigue/wear-and-tear. Anyway, that's another big reason for why they look so inept now. Last year they were blowing open big holes for Barkley left and right. Not so much this season.

The odds of both of those happening are pretty slim. But if they keep winning, one of the other wildcard contenders could slip. The team just needs to keep doing their part and hope the other chips fall into place. It makes those early season games that were within reach seem that much more important right now.
Right. However, things happen like this to all teams at some point.
Injuries being the main reason. And sometimes it just takes time to click.

Houston lost its 1st 3 games. Wonder how their fans felt. Now they are within a game of the division lead, and for a WC spot.
Yes they too need to rely upon other teams to make that happen.

3 weeks ago it looked as if the Steelers were going to run away with the AFCN. Now they could miss the playoffs all together.

I know of one self-admitted Eagles fan on here, but Dallas is his second favorite team. He contributes, doesn't pick fights, and is a nice guy on here. Not going to name him though. He knows who he is.
Probably the same guy I am talking about, and I agree
You guys think your coded posts can conceal Rockport's identity? You are mistaken, buckaroos.

They were choking before Q even got here. They scored 19 points against GB and Detroit combined lol. They’ve been struggling just getting away with it.
Whatever, you know they panicked as soon as they heard Q-tip was coming here during our bye. They knew it was over

I never claimed to understand it, I just take him at his word. lol....

I’ll never understand these teams trotting out these quarterbacks with casts and broken faces like Rodger’s last night

The way Washington played last night, those are 2 tough games for the EGAL vs Washington. Chargers and Bills are also tough games for them.

give it two weeks and everything will change again

that is why the NFL is called NOT FOR LONG
