Just thought this was interesting, even though you can say this about every guy who was a late round or UDFA success. The first 4 rounds of the 2003 draft looks like old Jimmy Johnson draft classes IMO.
Not sure if someone went to sleep on day 2 or WTH happened.
Fortunately, whomever woke up and got on the phone to we got Romo.
BTW, the Patriots selected Kliff Kingsbury late instead of Tony Romo.

2003:
1st Round: Terence Newman (elite NFL CB)
2nd: Al Johnson (would still start if Gurode didn't become so dominate)
3rd: Jason Witten (BIG Steal)
4th Bradie James (Big steal)

Guys we selected INSTEAD of using a draft pick on Tony Romo:

Round 6: BJ Tucker (***?!?!)
Round 6: Zuriel Smith (ok shot in the dark)
Round 7: Justin Bates (***?!?)

UDFA:
Tony Romo
