Normally i wouldn't agree with this b/c he's a guard, but i will agree.

I think based on those numbers he posted at the combine, and he does similar or better at his pro day, AND based on his versatility on the line, he's gone top 15-18

I think he'll go in the 18-40 range. The workouts are just starting, and other people are going to put up great numbers too (wait until Manny Ramirez puts up his bench numbers).

I would have no problem taking him at #22. I think he's very similar to Shawn Andrews.

The problem is that he's the only top notch prospect at guard this year. Any team with a hole there is going to reach if the need is bad enough. Other guard prospects shouldn't even sniff the first round this year. IMO.

I'd rather go corner. I would not, however be upset if we took him at 22. I just don't see him there. Just a hunch.

What I like about Blalock is his ability to play both Guard and tackle positions. Last season when Texas needed Blalock to fill in at tackle the guy stepped up and did the job with no problems

Actually, I think Ramirez at 40 is kind of a disappointing number for him. He supposedly benches in the 550 range. I heard some people expecting a record setting number.

40 reps of 225 will get you nowhere if you can't get out and block at the 2nd level, I'd have to see more of his #s

We keep pushing people into the top 20, and not all of them fit. I don't see Blalock going that high.
