The guy was solid when healthy, if the money is right this will be money well spent!

He was better than solid. People don't like to admit it when injured journeymen linebackers entering their 30's are among the 2-3 best players on your defense, but Durant was playing very good football last year before he got hurt.

Remember 12 months when most wrote him off? Never got that

Yeah. Broaddus had something to do with that, didn't he?
The guy just has me scratching my head. He's been pretty dang good the whole time in Dallas, and then took it to another level last season. Now, as little talent as we have on defense, that's not saying all that much, but, still, he's a good player. He's not hurt as much as Lee. He's not crazy as much as McClain. And he's not Hitchens as much as Anthony Hitchens. What's not to like?

As they wrote off almost every player on the team....returning and any newly signed players, including draft picks.

I remember a special dislike for him. He is as good of a 1.5 -2m year vet lb that I've seen in a while.

Not a superstar, but you can win with him
