I know I'm in the minority, but I'd hate to have to try to replace Durant if we don't have to. He's a fit here and a really underrated LB.

Yeah, no Rolando would change things a little but still, Lee would just play in the middle and they could find another WLB. As long as they're fast and athletic, Marinelli can get them playing well. Somebody like Lavonte David is the prototypical WLB in this system. Shazier would have been too.

Kendricks or Shaq Thompson in this draft would fit well, but neither in the first round though please.

However, I do think that Ro re-signs in Dallas.

The rumor mill has Ro talking to the Packers right now. This could start to get ugly.

I hope the plan isn't to start Hitchens, I like the idea of

WLB: Sean Lee, (rookie)
MLB: Rolondo McClain, Anthony Hitchens, Cameron Lawrence
SLB: Bruce Carter, Keith Rivers

Bruce Carter will want more than we're willing to offer (which is minimum salary to any free agent) and we don't seem to have the patience for someone like McClain. LatinMind was right. Say hello to

WLB: Sean Lee
MLB: Anthony Hitchens
SLB: Keith Rivers

I didn't mind this type of purge in the nineties after winning Super Bowls. Kind of sucks now having just turned a corner.

Ugly because Rolando is thinking about going somewhere else? He is easily replaced if he wants too much money. I don't think anything that has happened so far is anything the team hasn't expected.

I wouldn't want to bank on going into 2015 with Lee, Hitchens, and Rivers as my starting LBs. Adding a guy in the draft would ease that a bit, but Lee getting injured would put you back at square one. Imagine how things would have been if it weren't for the McClain trade.

The Dallas Cowboys are playing with Fire by resting on their laurels. There's Jerry's way and then there's the polar opposite end of the spectrum. I love that Stephen has more control but this polar opposite is pissing me off. Real success lies somewhere in the middle...

If my fellow Cowboys fans think Dez isn't sitting back watching what we do with Murray awaiting his opportunity to say "we'll why the heckll did you franchise me?" I have some choice beachfront real estate to offer you in South Florida.

Durant will be missed. Even for those of you that think he only averaged 5 games per season. Watch more games please.

Tyron sign a 100 million dollar deal a Doug sign a deal for around 4-5 mill a year ? Thats in what excepted, 30 something ok to above average, non pro bowl level RT.

Tyron was a bargain for LT relative to top players at the position. Doug Free resigned for less than Parnell.

You are right, avoid the unilateral extremes, do not jump to polar opposites to correct an extreme, balance and proper player adjudication is the sound way!

Parnell is younger than abut that is a lot.

Younger but not better, Dallas got a better deal and can walk in 3 years.

Parnell was average and even though he is younger, has little upside.

Free agency paid him well though, Doug wanted to be in Dallas.
