Thanks for the update!! I guess with resigning Gurode for 1 year we are content to let the two battle over the position.

They paid a lot for that DT they signed from Baltimore? He must be a load, but honestly I didn't watch too many Ravens games last year so I have no idea if this guy can play or not?

yeah, resigning Gurode meant that this wasn't going to happen.

Yup I think you may have the right of it

Bummer. Well I guess Gurode will be the starting center anyway.

I doubt he was ever a real option.

I think the team was much happier with our play at center than most fans believe.

Can we have Carolina's first day of Free Agency please :(

isn't this always the case
2003 - they get Delhomme & Davis
2005 - they get Wahle & Lucus
2006 - they get Hartwick & other dude

and we had the same needs

thus far, Fox >>> Parcells

Carolina looks like 2006 NFC Superbowl representative, great start.
I have to agree. If there was one team knocking
at the door last year, well, this team is making some great moves
to get back there.

Has Carolina ever made a bad decision in Free Agency? They always do well.
Jake Delhomme, Stephen Davis, Ken Lucas, Mike Wahle now add Hartwig and Keomotu to that list

What's it going to be then, eh?

I would have taken their's from last year also.

They have their business squared away.

I mean seriously how different would our team have looked over the past few years. Return to Glory made a great point we've had eerily similar needs over the past few years.
Delhomme as our QB instead of the Vinny and Drew
Davis at RB instead of Hambone and Eddie George bridging the way for JJ
Wahle on the O-Line instead of Rivera and his injuries
Henry and Lucas is pretty much a push although Lucas is younger
You gotta like what they've done with Hartwig and Keomoto (sp?)
